Ok so I know that right off the bat people will be saying, " OH YOU'l COME BACK. " Ahahahha, no. BASSICALLY what happened was I got a new hard drive got the seagate ss100000 1b. It was supposed to put my s***ty pc on some grade a METH. But that didn't go to plan. My computer had an allergic reaction if you will and completely shut down. It then restarted and said " Error No bootable drive, please restart PC. " So I now have no possible way of getting on minecraft. I threw away the old hard drive because I expected the new one to work fine, I have no clue why it gives me this message and even when I press the F keys it just spams the same message over and over and over again. So I just gave up. If anyone could help me with this I will be forever in your debt and I know this is really short but that's because I'm typing this on my iPad and I can't be bothered to write my life story into this. :(

A new hard drive won't make many PCs much better.

Sure things will boot faster but nothing will run better.

The only time I dealt with hard drives was when I changed my own a while back, took a lot of time on google.

Anyway I'm sure you'll get it fixed :)

Was that the exact error message?
    1. Who installed this? a Professional or you?
    2. The obvious issue just from the error code is that the computer is not recognizing that hard drive for some reason, or just doesn't even know the hard drive is there in general. Either it wasn't installed properly, or you just got a messed up drive.
    3. Wtf is this hybrid drive thing. I looked up your drive, and its a solid state and a HDD? what. I might be just out of the loop, but that sounds relatively new, and there might be some compatibility issues if you have an older laptop.

This is a bit of copy and paste from an article, but here are a few steps to help.
Step 1. Hit F2( or whatever key it tells you to hit to enter the BIOS menu) sometimes it's f10.
Step 2. Look for anything that says main hard drive or primary drive. If under that section in BIOS it says "none", then you have an easy fix. The hard drive just wasn't installed properly and isn't making a good connection with your computer. You just have to open up your computer and push the SSHD into the with a bit more force. However, if your computer is recognizing the hard drive, and it lists a bit of info about it, then you have a bigger problem. You're computer is recognizing the hard drive it just won't let the OS go on it for some reason. I have absolutely no idea how to fix that issue. It's way beyond my knowledge. My only guess if that's the issue, is this SSHD drive. I don't understand how it works, but your laptop might not be compatible with it.

Sorry if this didn't help much, but that's about all I know.
EDIT: Probably not a compatibility issue I did some more research, and all Seagate did was smash a SSD and a HDD together, so it's basically just a laptop with 2 drives.

Funny enough there isent an error message it just tells me what i said in the orginial post. It wont actually let you do anything. All that comes up is that stupid error message. But thanks for the info. Installed it myself. My laptop is old and that hardrive is brand new.

It doesn't even let you open the BIOS? And no offense, but there's a lot of stuff you can break if you installed it yourself.

Talk to me on Skype for the time being? And do you have a local computer shop? That's usually where I go to check up on my computer so it runs correctly. Unless you're pretty advanced in computer-tech, I don't suggest trying to put it in yourself. It might just be that your laptop is from the 1800's <: (jk)

Goodluck, Snow :) I can understand the frustration, but hopefully it can be resolved by a quick trip to a computer (person/thing/expert).

p.s. I'm horrible with computers and stuff like this. In no way am I an expert.

Snow, you should've kept your old hard drive before you threw it out. It would have saved a lot of time, money, and frustration.
