Hey everyone. I am looking on buying a new desktop computer and I need some recommendations.

The current laptop I have is an Alienware x14 with a Nvidia GeForce gt 555m graphics card. So, I am looking for something way better than that.

    Budget is around 1k-1.5k

The oyer machine, has a graphics card so good you need to take it to anartica to cool it. It runs minecraft on 2 billion fps with every setting on the max, and you could run 60 gta's at one time on it. Costs 20 gajaliions$

*visions of my shitty desktop computer flash through my head*
but seriously if I had that money I would be continuing my quest for a car instead of buying a computer

I'm in bed on my phone but when I wake up I'm bombarding you with build recommendations.

For now, I will leave you with this:

Build your own PC. It's easy.
    Do NOT buy prebuilt.
Do NOT go anywhere near Alienware ever again.

I do want to build my own PC but I am 12, like stated. I have never built one but I could possibly ask me dad he is a specialist in computer building.

    Even better.

At $1.5k you could get a brilliant PC.

Well I understand. I have taken a look at a prebuilt PC. Don't freak out yet. I have reviewed the specs of it and it is much better than my current one.

A 1440p monitor is amazing with that graphics card. You don't have much spare cash in the budget for peripherals though, but I'm sure you can go above the budget by around $50 to get a basic set.

So this is better than my Alienware x14? Also, how long would this take to build?

    Soooooo much better.

Once you have all the parts and if the build goes without a hitch, it should take you 3ish hours.
