Hello and im now suggesting that public ban messages be avaiable
If they get permbanned:
Moderator banned Player for scamming.Don't do it. (the don't do it part i seen it on another server)
If they get tempbanned:
Moderator tempbanned Player for 1 hour for Nick abusing.Don't do it.
I know maybe this would make a great ammount of spam because of console.Then just private console bans
But this would avoid alot of scams,griefs,loots,etc.

Spam is a major issue. Public humiliation should not be the aim, but it would be inevitable. I don't need to know that mods are banning players for breaking the rules, because that's what they are supposed to be doing. It is unnecessary and would do more harm than good.

 

Players shouldn't have to learn from others mistakes but rather read the rules before doing anything that might be considered an offense. Instead, there should be broadcasts with a link to the rules on the forums. c:

They are mods. They are supposed to be doing their jobs. If they are not doing their jobs, the community can usually tell. There's for no need for this system.

If you were to do this then I would just make the report section visible.
There's no point on making people's bans even more public.

 

No, some people get banned for reasons they don't like sharing. I don't see a use of everyone knowing why they're banned. That is just between mods and the punished player.

It just wouldn't work, because let's say I wanted to ban a scammer, but they were offline, so I because /seen is messed up, I have to banhammer them, unban them, then tempban them, and players don't need to see that. On top of that, we don't want players seeing 'controversial' bans and raging at the mods. Apart from the fact it would humiliate the players, it would cause the mods to be abused.
There's no way I can ever see this being introduced peacefully.
