I think it is important to show that you are an active member of the community. Stay on the forums stay in the game. Be helpful, answer things correctly. Then your application will still matter over the long run.

Make sure your app is still relevant.
Make edits to it as you grow.

If you get discouraged and quit, the mods see you were not serious.

    It's a game, seriously.

Boo hoo, you don't get input in who gets promoted, you can't turn around to people and tell them they're doing a bad job at applying for something that's not even in their best interest. You guys are acting like it's an actual job when in reality it's just some people playing on a server. You're not paid to be a moderator, people are not obliged to write paragraphs of reasons why they should be 'hired' to spend time banning and kicking users for breaking rules when it's really just something to pass the time with.

please point out my attack. I simply stated that if you don't share the same views on this server that I do, that it's not right of you to downplay what I consider important, simply because you do not view it as important. Then I asked you not to brush me off with statements of apathy that reflect views that I obviously do not share with you. So again I'll ask. Where did I attack you?

On mineverse its the exact opposite.

The trend is one cycle rlly popular people are promoted and another cycle randies who spend 1 week on forums are promoted.

Does it work? Well, we got one of our best guards out of the latter cycle, tin15cro, and sometimes we get sh** heads who get demoted in a week.

We cannot control this cycle, or randomness of Cypriots promotions, because you can rarely get into a position to have him promote someone. We just have to deal with it I guess, and hope Cyp makes the right decision.

Your general aggressive manner of typing is where to start.
Also you're talking down to me here, is that necessary? "This is something" "This is what it's for" "this is what it's for again" as if I'm some sort of child. Your hostile and demeaning writing style says it all to be honest.

"I'm honestly getting sick and tired of people..." <- This as a whole, though I don't care to write the entirety of it out as I'm lazy, you have to admit it is rather aggressive after I said "I don't see how it bothers you" or however I wrote it and since I said "I don't see" the language as a whole shows an opinion to which you dived onto and then began replying to a message to which you'll find wasn't directed towards you either way.

Well I apologize that I came off as aggressive, however when you said you don't understand how this affects us and I explained how it affects us. I in no way meant to treat you like a child and sometimes my bluntness is interpreted as being very standoffish however I am a very right brained type of person. I merely meant to display the facts and I mean no ill will towards you.

    >useless redundant information that is there just to make the app longer.

That's because everyone says that an application isn't long enough. I personally would rather look at someone who gets to their point quickly rather than one thousand words for the times they can be active. Like half the questions are made for a sentence reply, not a novel.

Some people don't really put much thought into their applications. Honestly if you want to apply you have to be active and you have to understand that you are going to have to do mini-modding even if you don't want to. You also might not have time to play regular Skyblock a lot as well because a lot of people need help. If you can't do or understand or understand these requirements then It might not be the best position to apply for.

I feel this, only because it seems true. Mods need to be refreshed more, and need to be picked better. I see some mods that are good, but there are some that I never see on, or don't help. I am not saying it is all true, but from what I see personally, we need new mods, but the applications are kinda pilled up, and some aren't even worth being there.

    *coughHypocritecough*

    but you're right ayy lmao

This is what I always say. Write what you think you're supposed to write. If that's the right thing, then congrats! You think like a moderator! If not, then maybe it's not the job for you and that's okay. I just don't like that being a moderator is such a trending thing. Is it really that hard to enjoy the server as it is?

Imo mod apps that show uniqueness usually gets noticed more.
    Quality > quantity
Plain > rainbow (kills my eyes after a while)

If you're like everybody else, then that defeats the purpose of them picking you over someone else. Ya gotta be honest and unique and be yourself. Put a part of yourself in the apps ^ 3^

    One does not simply make
    a moderator application
    with originality these days.
