People shouldn't be promoted to balance out the amount of each gender. That's a terrible way to promote people, Cyp would pretty much have to promote 2 people if he wanted to promote 1 to tmod.
Yeah, that's exactly what I meant. Cyp doesn't technically look at donor status, but having it sure helps a lot in getting out there and getting known.
I gotta admit, having colored chat does make players notice you more. And it does stand out in chat and when you ask a player to stop doing something in colored chat, they are more likely to stop. Just a personal opinion. Hence why donors are more noticeable.
That's what's wrong with this thread. On the team, there is no 'male' and 'female.' It's you, you, and you. Every person has their own attributes and their own personality; grouping them into 'male' and 'female' staff is downright degrading, stripping them of everything that they define themselves as just to check what's between their legs (or at least in most cases, anyway; it's a simplification). It's only an issue if you think it is. None of us have any problem with the representation of males/females on staff. Any imbalance is purely coincidental.
As long as the staff team is kind, and helpful towards players, I don't see why it would matter if they were male or female. I love all the staff!
I honestly don't care what a mods gender is, As long as they do their job and do it well then I have no problem with them.
