I think we should have a Pvp area because there are people on the server who like PVP (including me). A PVP area would be great because some people are sometimes bored and want to do something else beside helping there island grow.
this sounds like a great idea. Right now however I have constructed a mob arena so players won't be too bored. It's all controlled so if you get bored hmu ig if you ever want to try it out. Believe me when I say it...it's amazing.
Yes, this has been suggested many many times before and denied, every single time. Wanna know why? Let me tell you a quick story. Way back when, at the end of 2012/beginning of 2013 I believe, Skyblock used to have PvP just like what you're describing. It was a great diversion from the actual game of Skyblock, and a good way to actually put that full set of god diamond armor to use. EXCEPT. PvP brought hackers. Skyblock moderators didn't sign up to sit in PvP to watch for and ban hackers, but that was exactly what they were doing. Extremely stupid. And because you had to use your own items to PvP, you obviously lost them when you died. Because of that, there were endless complaints of lost items, even though it was EXPLICITLY stated that there would be no refunds. Nevertheless, the complaints kept coming, making a mod's job even more focused on PvP. Lastly, I know I said it was a great diversion from the game of Skyblock. But you don't join Skyblock to PvP, you join it to Skyblock. PvP took away what the server was really about. If you want PvP just go play on Mineverse. That's what THAT server is for. tl;dr: PvP is never going to be added back to Skyblock. It brought hackers, many complaints, and made the life of a mod miserable, not to mention it took away what Skyblock is really about.
She's not even being pessimistic, she's being realistic. It's been stated before and she stated it again. It's never coming back. Ever.
Nah I don't agree with this, if you do /servers, and click the far right block, it takes you to skywars which is basically like a big PvP.
