I've used this command on factions servers, and I thought it would make neat addition to Skyblock. I feel like this is pretty self-explanatory, but if you don't know what /stack is, I'll explain.
/stack would be a command to stack items up to stacks of 64.
For example:
You have 15 bows, but you only have 1 slot left in your chest. Of course you could just make another chest, but over time you will just have piled up chests of bows. If we had /stack we could just hold the item we want to stack and type /stack. Then it would make our 15 bows (taking 15 slots of our inventory) stack so it would only take up 1 slot in our inventory.

Here's a picture reference:
You have 15 bows, each bow is taking up 1 inventory slot. Making it space consuming.

You would then use the command /stack to stack them

Then the bows would only take up 1 inventory slot, being more organized and less space consuming.
(In this case the arrows will represent the bows)

Q: What would happen to the unstackable items? Wouldn't they loose their value?

A: Yes, they would, but on the other hand they weren't worth much before. Of course it is a rare and you could make a profit from it, but they don't have any use. Even if the items were of some value, you wouldn't ever get to use them, if you did you would just ruin the unstackable item. So what's the use? The least you could loose is a couple of diamonds.

I once had stone swords in my inventory and did my kit command and lost a few items :3

They would become less valuable, yes, but it wouldn't ruin the economy. (If that made any sense) What I am saying is, if stacked unstackable became worthless would it really have a huge impact?
I would think the least you could loose is a couple of diamonds.

 

Oh and now that I think about it, if you have a bunch of stacked swords let's say, you would be able to /enchant them all in one shot, right?
