How to Deal with the Need New Mods.

    This is how I believe we can sort the new mods out.
    We have a list of Moderators like this: (random names not actual mods)
    Random1
    Random2
    Random3
    Random4
    Random5
    Random6
    Random7
    Random8
    Random9
    Random10
    Random11
    Random12
    Random13
    Random14
    Random15
    Random16
    Random17
    Random18
    Random19
    Random20
    If you are on the list you copy out the list and remove your name
    and when theres only 15 left those 15 who didn't reply quick enough gets there mod revoked.

    No, but there could be a roster put in. Make it public, so if a moderator's activity comes into question, people can post on it and say that they have or have not.

    If it somehow gets implemented, then it. Should at least be only 5 revoked, instead of 15.

    I don't get it.... You mean you get chosesn for mod but if you don't respond quick enough you lose mod and the remainder are new mods?
    Well firstly timezones. Second that would be a lot of work. Thirdly we don't want mod to be more of a "chance" thing.

    As for a roster, no. The only thing players should know is the dates a mod should be inactive. That is the responsibility of the mod to notify players via profile. Otherwise as long as other mods know and cyp knows it's fine.

    Players can have their say in the proper sections or just go straight up to cyp. No need for anything else.

    Sorta like that what I mean is like Every month a message gets sent saying to get ready to mark off your name on the mod checklist and the people who don't sign it within say.... a week or so from the day the message was sent gets demoted so they have a week to reply. I had that on game of war Fire Age where my clan had to msg back or they would get kicked out eventually I quit playing and got kicked out

    Yeah thing is this would depend on a persons timezone. I might be a very good candidate for mod but I miss out on the message because It's 4am and I have school the next day... Is that fair? There is no way to make every timezone have a fair shot at it. As it is most of the mods are US/Can. Something like this would probably favour uk/us

    Mod's aren't candy, kid, and right now we need as many good ones as we can get. The only person that makes changes to the staff team is Cyp himself. The team is fine right now, hence as why Cyp hasn't promoted anyone.

    I don't like being called a, "Kid" ... and I don't think of mods as candy anyway it was just a idea for the "Need New Mods"

    Maybe you should fix your grammar before calling people "kid," little missy.

    I think the problem is that people look at the list of moderators and it seems like enough, but in actuality, some are inactive and thus we need more. There should not be a set number of mods, and Cyp shouldn't feel pressured to promote/demote anyone. Just do it as necessary whenever the time is right. If the server feels kind of empty, then promote some more. It's not that big of a hassle, especially when it'll help the server in the long run. There are people waiting to be promoted that would be great at their job; I can even think of two off the top of my head. Just give them the chance and it'll help everyone.

    I wasn't disagreeing with the "We need as many good ones as we can get," I was disagreeing with the "The team is fine right now, hence why Cyp hasn't promoted anyone."
