You use staff abuse too lightly. Staff abuse would be tampering with title threads, sudoing people with inappropriate language, framing people, or stealing from people's item inventories. That is staff abuse. Since when is muting somebody staff abuse? It's Roblox's opinion on it being an inappropriate name, and not ours. We should respect his opinion and stay out of it. Mineverse's community (as I've found out) has a lot of "#UnmuteTouchMeDaddy" type of things. However, skyblock is nothing like that. Making these petty hashtags and such about somebody is pointless. Yes, he's a great guy, but I'm sure Roblox isn't the only one that thought of this in a dirty way. Ask the player himself and then he can explain what he meant by the name.
I Agree the name itself is ill suited and inappropriate for the image we portray on our servers. Why not just go to the Mojang website and have it changed if they want to play. Its Free, its quick and easy, and there will be no more issues.
Yes that is easy. However, he does not want to and will not change it. It was allowed through mojang itself so it should be allowed.
Touch me daddy.. hahah that is not G rated sorry bro but that is perverted theres no excuses sure little kids shouldnt know the meaning of this but still not an appropriate name
I think the argument here is not what the name means, as it clearly means what we all think it means, but rather why it's been banned. I see sexual innuendos in chat all the time, from mods, donors, heck I even make them myself. I don't see why this is any different. Any minor seeing this won't understand the significance, and if you're worried about someone being triggered, then you might as well not speak because there's someone who will get offended at everything you could possibly say, even if it's politically correct.
How is a 2 week mute going to make it less appropriate? What happens when the 2 weeks are up? And then he just goes back to 'offending' people in chat?
You would think Mojang would do something about the usernames having profanity in it considering the majority of people that play minecraft are young kids.
