With the increasing number of scammers and especially griefers in skyblock, I think we ought to install some sort of invisible camera on the island.

Think about it! We could prevent island bridging, scammers, griefers, all caught in the act! We could make the moderators life a little bit easier with that thing. And top of that, leaders of a coop will no longer have to create speculation. We could actually know WHO is doing it without blaming other people.

Personally, I think it would be worth the money. People would play more, and safer to trade! :D

I don't see it being a problem, but we could always do something else instead of this. It could be you pay to use a recording system. Like Fraps, or Bandicam.

Just record your own trades using bandicam or something like that.

No support for this, sorry. For a few reasons:
    1. I see this type of issue with the trading system a lot, but I feel the easiest way to be safe is just record all trades. Screenshots is even enough.
    2. As someone who is part of a lot of trades, I know that I only trade with people I trust, and I always ask to be payed before giving away goods.
    3. Since I don't know of a plugin like this, I assume it would be difficult to implement/develop. In fact I'm not really sure I totally understand what would happen to the video captured.

    Replying to Pizza's comment:
The camera would be there 24/7 and the leaders of a coop would be able to know the location of the cameras. And if necessary, they could review it. For example, one day you see your island up in flames, and your really mad because you worked really hard on it. You begin speculating and think one of your newest members did it. You want him banned.

    You could:
-Spam the message box saying, MY ISLAND IS GREIFED! I NEED A MOD x10 (really bad idea)

-***Go to the forums AND report it*** (For the new players reading this, THIS SHOULD BE YOUR 1ST OPTION, EVEN WITHOUT PROOF!!!) But even if refunded, you still want to know WHO did it and keep your island.

-****Use logblock**** (Cyp should really consider this. Its like my idea, but without the admins power to redo/destroy the build)

    - >Use invisible camera with proof, and then go to forums!!

You then ask a mod to review your recording, and he/she says, "I see... I want you to go on the forums, and report this incident. I will personally bring this to the attention of other moderators." You then do that, and then the moderators decide what to do.

I always wondered if this was possible, but the thing is, where would it store the files? My mind goes directly to, "Well, inside the camera, of course!" because that's how it works in real life, but in Minecraft, the data has to be stored somewhere on the server's database to be accessed. With so many people, it'd be tough to store it and tough to parse through it later.

The best solution would be logblock. This seems like surveillance for islands which would be non stop recording and storage would be sever based and there would simply be no space for everyones recordings. Log block did function before, for the most part. Its the better system for net.
