Hello All! This post will be divided into sections! The Idea: Today I come with an idea of a Youtube rank! Recently me and some friends started a new island (on .org) and started recording youtube videos for it. We have not posted any yet (still editing) but we thought, why not have a rank for us who put the time in to make the videos that technically promote the server? I currently have 926 subscribers (my friend who is also recording has 8, but he just started). That is about 926 more people who never knew about the official skyblock server! The requirements: A few videos of the skyblock servers. A decent amount of subscribers (anywhere from 50-500 minimum) Dedication to their channel and the server The perks: Maybe a kit Maybe a fly mode for cool screenshots and easier building Maybe in game money Post ideas bellow! I will add them and put your name as credit! Sample application (Not an official or final application! Just an idea! DO NOT try to fill it out!): Real Name - ING - Age - YT Link - # Of Subscribers - # Of Episodes - What server(s) do you play on (org or net) - Any other ideas? Comment bellow!
Lol no. Just no. This has been suggested many times before, and people who have played on .org .net even skywars for a while know that a new "youtube" rank is the very last thing we need. If it ever got through in the first place you wouldn't just get the rank. Tbh we don't need that sort of popularity, I guess you can call it, attracted to the server. There's also the fact of buying subscribers. If this rank even got past the first stage I guarantee you it wouldn't have many perks as you stated. Your supposed to donate to the server to acquire perks. Say captain sparkelz comes on the server with the "YouTube" rank. Next second the chat is flooded with people saying " CAPTAIN SPARKLEZ! UMG MARRY ME CAPTAIN SPARKELZ!" And things like that. Who in the entire world wants that? Notice when you do /seen and add a popular youtubers name, it most likely says their banned. Id give up my foot if this ever got through. Tl;dr not happening don't need that popularity to the servers
What I don't see is why everyone wants this pointless rank. Sure, it's great when someone gets loads of subscribers. But they came here to play skyblock. Not to show off their amazing prefix that does nothing anyway. Besides, this can be really easily abused. Someone can put someone else's youtube name that's not their's. And that person may have 4500 subs. So instantly you're using a strangers authority. Leave all the other YouTube servers to do their thing. Skyblock already has enough ranks. And you can buy Fly in the shop. I wouldn't approve or reccommend this.
Yeah, i've seen this on a few servers, but if you want a kit then buy one. youtuber kits, yeah nah. sorry but no-support, this can easily be abused, since people buy their subs. (i know they're sad) I think the current ranks and kits are good enough.
Even if I wanted to support this, I'd say that 50-500 subscribers to get the rank is WAY too low! I'd say at least 100,000. Anyway, no support
Sorry, no support from me. Just doesn't feel like it'd be a good addition, too many possibilities of abuse (fake accounts, bots, etc.). If I was watching a YouTube series on this, I'd almost prefer they didn't have perks to make it a more normal experience.
Why would you even bring this up. Youtuber ranks are so stupid. like honestly, someone could go make a fake youtube account, post pictures of cat memes or whatever kids watch these days then apply for a youtuber rank. dude no. even if you had like 100,000 subscribers, this is just a way to show off to other people about "Oh im so cool i have my own youtube page lets go make a video about me walking around placing blocks woohoo" no. No support.
