So Clear Lag is pain in the *** now. Please excuse my language. But I find this really absurd. No Warning at all? Really? So far I have lost around 1 stack of grass whilst trading since the was no warning for clear lag. But now I was trading with AstroExplorer for 1 spawner. I had to give him 85 grass. I dropped the grass and then Clear Lag happened... So all I am asking is for this bloody lag to get fixed and to get a 85 grass refund. Thx

I suggest trading in a chest, This was an old trading method, if you got scammed, mods could use logblock. now they don't have it, still good to trade in a chest.
Mods don't refund clear lag issues. Well... they don't have to. Some nice mods will help you out, Krissy helped me out when I lost 21 diamonds to clag. Yea you also need some form of evidence whether that be video, witness or screenshots, as long as it can be used to prove that you really did lose x items.
This has been an issue for a long time, I suggest to increase the time between clag sessions and possibly announce when they are happening. That will do the job.
Unless you have your preferences set to 'F lock'. This means you don't need to use 'FN' for Minecraft, but instead for the default controls, like sound and brightness.
There was no time for the to take a screenshot as clag took the grass instantly. Therefore no picture to proof the existence of the grass. There was just the other person that I was trading with which saw the grass disappearing.
Mods will not refund clear lag. I recently made a thread in suggestions about clear lag, you guys should check it out and support it . It suggests to add a 30 second clear lag warning.
What happened to the old entity clear warning? Wasn't there a 60 second and 20 second warning before?
a tip to everyone PLEASE take a screenshot no matter what trade. What if the guy scammed you ? then youve got evidence you own that item. What if it laggs out ? Then youve got evidence , it makes you recieve your items alot easier and quicker with less hassle
i know but we can get some immature players who can steal peoples time and effort in seconds its just nice to have that backup . it helps the community getting scammers banned and helps yourself . 1 screenshot doesnt take up too much room on your hdd F2 to screenshot
This post isn't about the best way to avoid scamming, screenshotting to get refunds, or whether mods will refund clear lag issues. You can't use chestshop to trade items for items anyway so this is not a solution. The point of this is a simple one, fix the warning message, there are other threads about this as well. If there's a warning saying 20 seconds and you lose your stuff to clag it's your own fault for not checking the chat before throwing valuables, without the warning the only way to safely trade is to actually wait for clag to have just been, this approach is not viable. I don't know why the warning message disappeared but given the frustration i would suggest the warning message is fixed as the number 1 priority on the server. tldr: Everyone hates clag but understands why it's needed and we live with it, but without a warning message the price is too high, fix it.
This is the best news I've heard all week, I didn't get a chance to log on yesterday so haven't been on since Tuesday.
400 is a very long warning, considering clag is like every 7 minutes I think. I assume we still get the 60 seconds, and most importantly the 20 second warning?
