If you want to get noticed (by senpai ), just say something funny (or stupid). If people find out that you are cool and easy to talk to, they will talk to you and befriend you. I had a very good time as a non-donor. Now I need someone to bring me back to the good ol' days.
I'm pretty sure as a greenie you get ignored unless you prove that you're not another greenie tht spams. As a greenie, I got ignored a little too, but most of the time people would talk to me, leading to my upgrade c; Ty Stel~
I'm a greenbean and I have to say, some donors tend to ignore me completely. I message them in reply to something in chat for them to notie me, but they don't reply. It's rude. Just because I don't have the money to donate doesn't mean you should treat me like dirt. Granted, not all donors do that, but those few are just rude. I try to be friendly, but they only care about status.
I was a non-donor for a good 3 years... (including inactivity though) Honestly I didn't mind being a greenbean. Sure there was a lot of <AUCTION> LOOK HERE <AUCTION> you had to do to get any form of attention, but the positive was that it became easy to separate the community. You found those who based friendships purely off a hierachy of money (not worth your time) and you found the kind hearted ones who easily accepted you into the community. As a greenbean, people just find it hard to trust you. If you can gain that trust then you realise half the troubles you have become solved. Honestly there shouldn't be any need for segregation but I guess there's bound to be some.
I think a really interesting idea would be a [Trusted]Mercify title. It doesn't grant you anything special, but at least then people know you are a good bean and you don't spam the chat and mods have the ability to change your status if you decide to be a spammer at a later time.
Sometimes when I was still a greenie and people asked questions I would give them an answer (usually about the server) It's funny how sometimes donators will publicly say in some bright color in chat how I am wrong, and to not speak of what I don't know about. Then a mod would confirm that I am right. Lmao.

I'm a lifeguard right now, and I relate that to being a moderator. The kids are allowed to jump into the pool, but only dive into the deep end; those are the pool rules enforced by me, the life guard. However, I get some parents thinking kids can only jump in the deep end, so they yell at their kids for jumping in the shallow end and make them jump into the deep end, some even going so far as to say "If you ask the life guard, he'll say the same thing." ... but I wouldn't, because those aren't the rules. This is basically the same thing.
the thing with being green is, we cant read half of that. i honestly cant keep up with the amount of green names just to find a friend thats green. picking through names to find one person (jolie when she was green for instance) is so hard. speaking of, Jolie im the butt that made you a donor 10 LOL. and, as a greenbean once, this is true. back when i was green, noone noticed me. you have to compete with A SEA, of others that have nothing to stand out from the rest. ps, the middle isnt blank

But I totally agree, I mean, I'm a greenbean, and whenever I ask a question in the chat, I'm always ignored, cause there's just so many greenbeans spamming and asking questions, so it's a little difficult, especially since all our names are green, but you do get the few responses here and there. :3
As a Donor myself I can assure most people that most people only ignore a greenbean that spams. I talk to all greenbeans and if one spams, then I just ignore that one person not the whole group. What i'm really saying is that some donor act like greenbeans and some greenbeans act like donors. Most people don't ignore them until they start spamming.
