No one in chat seems to want to help me, so I'll try the forums instead! So, I was going to open my island to visitors, and I wanted to make a spawn area where people appear when they do /visit Iwan. But, the place where I appear when I do /island is in the middle of my house. So, I was wondering if it is possible to change the home/spawnpoint of my island. I believe I was able to do this a while ago on this server, but I have forgotten the command. Can anybody assist me?
Your bedrock is your spawn point for /home and /visit. You cannot change the location of the bedrock. Otherwise if you could change it, players would make deathtraps and illegal spawn points.

Yes, there is no way to change the spawn point of your island. The only thing you could do at this point is move your house. I will be more than glad to assist you further in game, but if you do have more questions, feel free to PM me.
