So back in December, I reset my laptop, and it's been stuck in Audit mode, how can I get out of audit mode? Because I cannot update to windows 10 while being in audit mode.

I am on windows 7. :\

 

Go to the Start> Run.

Type ‘regedit’ and hit enter.

Find and right-click the relevant registry key for your operating system:

Windows XP: AuditInProgress in HKLM\System\Setup
Windows Vista: ImageState in HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Setup\State
Windows 7: ImageState in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Setup\State Select Modify.

Delete the value and Click OK.

Restart your computer for changes to take effect.

I guess it's the same for windows 8 and 7. xP

 

But remind: It takes about 45 minutes or longer to update to windows 10. For me it did, depends on your internet.

 

Geekxboy is helping me with it, it's a more complex issue.

 

Okay, no worries.

60 is alot. I only have 15 mbps and it only took me 45 minutes

Lol I just got a new beast pc last week took 20 minutes to update on good internet.

 

I get 8mbps tops. Wish me luck for Windows 10 installation :/
