I believe you. it has happened to a friend of mine. However, no one can really do much considering that there are no screenshots/witnesses. I know people can hack enderchests. But, there one of the safest ways to go to put your stuff in.

 

Wow, I was so happy to find out that island were protected, now, I am not so glad.

 

Yea, that's what makes this thread so difficult to prove. I'm just glad Cyp took notice because this is getting the attention it needs now. It's kinda hard to get evidence because they are so quick at what they do. Oh well. For now, I go back to my searches. Hopefully I find more than I bargan for and maybe get some sort of evidence.

Who knows, maybe I can get Cyp's permission to test it on the server using my old island that my friend owns. If I can, maybe we'll find exactly which client it is out of the many listed on the Hypixel fourm link I shared... :worm

 

Sorry I didn't answer this. The answer is no.

The way I came to this conclusion is one simple answer: When players teleport, they do not gain any extra permissions.

So if they used their hack to fly to your coordinates, they would have the same amount of access to chests, blocks, and rares as they would if you /tp'd them. Everyone should protect their cooridinates!!!

Yes i heard that too. But on org! Ppl on org had some griefers on one day! I am not sure if it's the same problem but they got griefed all on one day. Please find out what the problem is soon!

 

The overwhelming amount of unneeded exclamation points are hurting my brain. On the other hand, a logging system on the servers, a good one, would help immensely. A good anti-hacking plugin would also be appreciated. Nothing like NoCheat. A custom one would be amazing. The problem, is hackers. It'd also be people who regularly play skyblock, because they would have no reason to be taking items unless they have a use for them. Skyblock also isn't a big not desirable server, so selling those items for real items is improbable. Look out for suspicious, were-poor people whom now have immense riches.

Let's not be devided in this matter. I will not add names, but it is pretty apparent. We are not judging others here, we are trying to find a solution to a problem facing the server here right now.

If you have comments on others, please keep it to yourself...at the very least, just this thread!

 

I'm not judging anyone, and at least I'm contributing. Add a logging system and a good anti hack.

 

I really don't understand what the problem is, why would players gain permissions for teleporting? Obviously players can fly to your island, but that would be exactly the same as you teleporting them there and doesn't give them access to your island protection.

 

I agree with Tanner Little, it wouldn't give them any extra permissions. A possible explanation is coop members, mods or possibly a hacked client that exploits a dodgily coded server command, but I find that extremely dubious. Also since others cannot place blocks on your island could we have hoppers back? Chests can also be guarded from hopper griefing by placing two blocks under them which are locketted.

 

First of all, I meant as in the force tp such as what the moderators currently have.

Secondly, it's not a matter of griefing. They can access the chests even with lockette on them as far as I know from the reports. Not needing to break blocks/use hoppers like the older attempts by "Fish". (Whoever that is)

I dunno how to get around this yet... Still doing my research online about the mods.

 

I dont think you quite understood what he was saying. You said that if they use a fly hack to go to your island, they have perms to build and destroy. You have an interesting bit of knowledge of how protections work lol.

Your transportation method has no bearings on the permissions within a specific region. The whole world with any generated island is within its own respected 100x100, or whatever it may be now, region. These regions deny permissions to anyone not automatically added as a member of it, in the plugins case, members of the coop.

Long story short, its a bypass for the skyblock plugins protections and possibly lockette, depending on the specific bypass. I doubt it managed to bypass worldguard, but only time can tell.
