Hello. I was trading with 'dodosam29'. I had held an auction for 32 iron. dodosam won with 25 grass + 5 gold ingots. She came, and I threw the 32 iron. She threw the 5 gold ingots, then threw the 25 grass. The grass was removed from clear lag. I don't have much proof, but I will post any screenshots I took. I pressed the up arrow on the keyboard to go through my past sent messages. This was the one where it was sold. Also in chat was dodosam saying she would give me a stack of god items because she felt guilty. ------ This was the picture of the trade and the clear lag. As you can see in my items bar, I got the 5 gold ingots. ------ This is a picture, showing everything that she threw to me. 2 stacks of god arrows, god diamond pickaxe and the 5 gold ingots from earlier. After throwing me these things, the player logged off... ------ This is a picture I had taken whilst advertising. I had taken it because the shown player was jumping on my farm. I resolved it with him and he apologised and threw everything back - it's sorted. But in the bar next to chat, it shows the 32 iron I was advertising. ------ If these screenshots do nothing and I need to sort it out with the player, would I need to just lose the grass? I would honestly prefer to get a refund on my iron and give everything I got given back. I needed the grass and she was the one who threw it in clear lag... Who would have to suck it up and suffer here? Thanks in advance..
Technically It's your own fault seeings as there are 2 very clear warnings before clag comes. It's always a good idea to check chat before you throw the items. I highly doubt you'll get refunded because of this, but you never know.
25 grass was lost. I did give her all the items on my side of the trade, which was 32 iron. I only got 5 gold ingots from her. The 25 grass was lost in clear lag. Okay. How about the player? Do you think I should get the refund with her, as she was the one who threw it on clear lag?
I think, if he/she wants to give back the items or you want them back it should happen but the grass is gone.
Your screenshots are confusing. In the first screenshot it shows you posting in chat of auctioning those items. Then in the other screen shot, you have all the items in your inventory, the ones that were out for auction, then in the other screenshot, you have only 5 gold left, so either you are terrible at explaining, or you are trying to pull something.
They aren't in order. I thought the text explained it quite well. Hopefully this explains it.. Screenshot One: This was after the clear lag trade, when dodo was getting the items to try to make up for it. I hadn't found the auction in chat, so I had gone up through my messages with the 'up' arrow in the bottom right corner of my keyboard. This wasn't at the time of posting the auction message - I don't have any screenshots of that. Screenshot Two: This was while trading with dodo, showing the clear lag removal. This was before screenshot one. Screenshot Three: The other player, dodo, had logged off at this point. I had just taken a screenshot of the items she gave me out of guilt. This happened after all the other screenshots. Screenshot Four: This was earlier, before the trade with dodo. In my bar is the 32 iron I was auctioning. This happened before all of the other screenshots. The reason I had taken this screenshot is because someone was jumping on my crops. Order of time in ascending order: -Screenshot Four -Screenshot Two -Screenshot One -Screenshot Three Sorry if it doesn't make sense. If necessary, I can go back and put the screenshots in order.
No refunds are given for things lost by c-lag. You should try to pay attention to chat warnings in the future. Since she got what was promised and you got something to make up for it, there shouldn't be any scamming report problems or anything. Sorry about losing your grass. Locking.
