Noobcrew CypriotMerks I strongly believe that there should be a command called /challenges to show what the skyblock challenges are. I noticed, while playing skyblock.net, that I couldn't find any of the challenges to go with it. I think the whole point of the server was to give players a fun atmosphere where they could play skyblock and I can't seem to find the challenges to complete and strive for. Thank you, please take this into consideration!
There are no challenges. You make your own objectives. I think if there were challenges with item rewards, players would grind and complete them over and over. They would get multiple of the item prize, which may impact the "economy" of the server.
You could earn something simple like wood or cobble from the challenges, and they can only be played once.
There were ideas similar to this that were put down by many members who did not like the idea. If there were to be such challenges the rewards must be sort of small and the challenges must be sort of challenging. Other wise its just too easy to get resources which makes each item worth less and like megadorkvikki said it would impact the economy.
I can see how that could make earning Dias, iron, and grass easier. Less people would be able to trade for resources and prices would go up.
So if it was like cobble, Dirt, wood, etc. it might be fine. Maybe add some examples so people know exactly what you want to have. Make the goals take a while though. Example: Harvest (number) stacks of wheat to get (number) dirt.
It could be more of a type of server achievement board. Say you harvest 200 wheat you get 2 stacks of cobble or wood? Something simpler like that.
I think I'm going to change my approach on it. Fix the beginning draft and what not. Include more details so everyone can get what I mean.
