So after a discussion with a certain moderator. he said I won't be banned for using god in mob arena. Even though I am now. I was trying to get an update to the rules, since it might cause confusion to new donators. The reason I believe he thinks I disrespected him was because he didn't fully understand what I was trying to point out, and I gave him my honest opinion about that. Also I told him I would discuss this matter with a different moderator because we're not on the same page. Did I break the rule: Yes, but I wasn't anymore. But for any new donator in Mob Arena, it might cause confusion that /god is not allowed. (Since it does sometimes automatically disable, but not always.) Also the 'common sense rule' does in my opinion not apply to this, since the class is named donator god or something like that. And yes of course it does contain a slight trace of common sense that /god is not allowed in mob arena. But what if you're new, and you only get the message 'godmode is now disabled' after 20 times of playing mob arena? (I believe I got mine after ~ 10th game, I kept using it because I thought this trigger was meant for non-donors and I stopped using it when an authorized staff member told me it's against the rules.) Do I think I should be unbanned? With any doubt: yes. The reason I got banned is to get a better view on the rules for new/existing donors who are not aware of this. And the moderator thought I was disrespecting him, but I don't think giving my honest opinion about the situation is disrespectful or a reason to ban for. It's more considered as feedback.
Yes, this does fall under the "common sense" category. Think about it. Do you think it makes sense that you can just sit in mob arena and be completely invincible? .org has had ma before, and that has never been the case. You reported yourself as well as another player who claimed that you stayed in mob arena a few rounds after realizing you were completely invincible. Other players also said you were asked to leave and ignored them for a while. What you did wasn't that severe. It's that you failed to accept that you did something wrong and you just kept denying that it was illegal because it wasn't in /warp rules or in /rules. If cyp had to write down every single little rule and every detail about them, then it would take hours to do, and nobody would bother to read them. Common sense is a very broad catagory, but it's pretty easy to determine if what you are doing makes sense. In your appeal, you said new donors may not understand that god is illegal, but we aren't talking about new donors here, we are talking about you. You've played this server long enough and are active enough to know that god in ma is not allowed. As for the disrespect, as soon as I told you all of this. and had a conversation with you about it, you said that I'm an idiot and I don't understand at all what you were saying. You then messaged Lemonade "pc1008831 is such a retarded idiot", as well as some other stuff, and you went on about how I didn't understand anything you were saying and how I was wrong about all this. About an hour later you started telling people a way to access my island's private grinder in global. So I'd like to know why YOU thought that you could go in mob arena with /god on, and how exactly did you not understand that it is illegal. I'd also like to know how it is not common sense that you can be invincible in the arena while other players can get hurt?
I haven't started telling people how to access your private grinder in global. I've only replied to someone who said 'I know how to visit your island' with 'Yea, just visit princessduck'. I never mentioned a private spawner, ever. Besides, this wasn't even about you or had anything to do you with you, atleast I had no 'evil intentions' by saying that. About your questions, I've already explained the matter, and I haven't played this server extremely long, I haven't even been at the 'previous mob arena' on this server. I still stand with my opinion about the fact that the /god rule is vague when it comes to clarity. People can think that it might be a bug that /god is disabled. As I've stated before the class name implies that you're a 'god' therefore common sense would be: God is allowed. And that's why we've had this discussion about clarity for the rules. Ofcourse I understand if 'every little rule had to be added, cyp would be busy for a long time' but I believe this is not a 'little rule' it might be bigger than people realize. But if you don't want to see all this from my point of view, then I guess I will stay banned forever. (What is the ban time anyways, I don't see a time stamp/datetime stamp) And right now I'm even breaking a rule because I'm only allowed to reply once per 24 hours.
But what we're really focusing on here is, do YOU understand that it is illegal? The rules may be vague on that but YOU know that it is illegal? God is a class, and not a command, that's kind of a given. I don't think Cyp would of allowed people to be invulnerable in the ma, thus rounds would never end, and you could just stand in one corner and hit mobs with your fist and you'd still keep going. I do understand it, I've already said that when we were discussing this in minecraft. And I've stopped doing it after it.
