Since yesterday, my IP address (I will PM it to whoever of staff wish - but you can track where I was logging in 3 or more days ago) looks blocked. Browser times out when trying to open forums, Minecraft client times out when trying to connect to servers (skyblock.org, skyblock.org, mineverse.com). May I ask why and ask to remove the block?
Blocking remains. I haven't received any messages about my (non-existing) breaking rules, whatever else, that could explain why I can't reach the server normally. I can use VPN/whatever to do that, but I prefer to have my access regained.
The servers were ddos'd. I myself have not been able to access the forums for hours at a time and sometimes get kicked from servers. Your ip is not blocked, trust me. The protection providers were working on a fix, so hopefully it will be back to normal soon.
What is "soon"? It's still not allowing me to read forums/play on servers. Judging by how quickly administration handles such things, I can consider my IP banned for good.
Not to be rude, you are not the only one with this issue, and its an on and off problem which is frustrating but it is not the fault of the admins. So when we say soon, it is because staff do not know how long this will last but it should not go on for much longer. Both admins are on break and the people that provide the protections need to fix this. Sorry you cannot get on and are having issues, but so is everyone else, and the only thing to do is wait.
"There are issues with connecting to both servers and forums at Skyblock.net, Skyblock.org and MineVerse.com. We have no clue when this situation is to be fixed. We regret the inconvenience and ask you to wait. We will post update when the situation is over". The above announcement takes 1 minute to post. Anyone can do that - mods, for example. May I ask one simple question - why there's no such post? There would not be reasons to reprimand me for asking most obvious question in situation like this? Thanks. I still recommend to post something like above, as sticky post, visible when people enter the site.
