So, Skyblock.org has been reset.

After I joined it, I saw message that purchased items has been credited and see 4 spawners in my inventory.

Very good. I type /newisland, see my new island and... nothing in inventory.

How comes I lost the spawners and how can I re-gain them? I suppose any admin can see I have no spawners - neither in my inventory, nor anywhere on island.

You had the spawners, but when you made your island. Your inventory was wiped. Do you have a screenie?

 

I see your issue. When you create a new island with the command /newisland replace, your inventory is cleared. It may or may not be refundable, but it is a common mistake. You should refer to a Moderator about this, because you purchased the spawners with money and not in-game items. For future, remember to enderchest your items before executing the command /newisland replace.

 

There are several misleading issues in here:

- there's no warning, nor it is said at /warp rules, that inventory is cleared
- when joined the server, I see "You have no island - type /newisland...", and as I was typing the command, I noticed the spawners appearing in inventory
- there are no enderchests at /spawn - nowhere to stash the inventory
- the correct way is to wait till player gets island, and only then reimburse the spawners

I have contacted admin (CypriotMerks ), hope it would take less than several weeks to handle.

By the way, if stuff in enderchests survives the /newisland, what's the point of clearing inventory? If it isn't, how player is expected to handle such a situation? Wait for Mod/a friend online , to pass them spawners temporarily?

No. The last thing I could expect from the server was telling to start /newisland, then giving me spawners as I typed the command '/newisland' without means to store things (enderchest) safely or at least warning about wiping all inventory.

Of course I can provide proof of my paying for Highroller (that assumed 1 spawner) and for 4-pack spawner paid for later. The Highroller spawner, by the way, wasn't included at all.

There are no enderchests on /spawn, /warp rules, /warp market ...

So basically it's the same problem: what to do with useful inventory if the only way to safely store them, without asking anyone to keep it, destroys the inventory.

 

Highrollers Overlords, and perhaps the lower donors can do /eec or /echest.

And looks like since yesterday my IP is kind of balcklisted on server. Attempts to visit forum time out, Minecraft client can't connect to servers, either.

Sooo... there is no public enderchest because island protection. You can't access any chests on other places not even spawn, market or whatever. I don't know why there is no note where it tells that you'll loose the inv. It's hard right now for mods to refund because cyp didn't give them spawners to refund. So you have to wait until mods get any spawners or cyp will help you.

 

Kang_Da! This is what I do - waiting. No other options anyway.

 

See If you can get a hold of a Mod. It will be easier then an admin

 

Krissy and blaq are both Moderators. However the only person who can solve this is Cyp so he has to wait till cyp gets ahold of this thread.
