I dislike no cheats because I was playing and just randomly lagged out and had to wait 10-20 minutes before I could log back in (not from a ban). It is a major nu-since and has caused me nothing but issues.

This comes from a server owner at Bukkit and explains the gigantic lag spikes I get every now and again. It causes lag and lots of it, it also seems to have no real purpose. It prevents legal hacks and regular game play and it doesn't prevent spamming in the slightest as spammers appear every few hours and can manage to spam for a whole 10 minutes before they get bored! Anyhow, I just thought I'd introduce a quick finding whilst I was browsing the web to hopefully support my argument for getting NoCheat+ removed for good. Thank you for reading.

TL;DR NoCheat has been known to cause major lag spikes... this sucks

NoCheat has to go. Along with AntiCheat and many more. Sure, it removes some hacked clients, but just make that client illegal. I lost 12k from an auction. I lost 28 iron from a trade. [Clearlag didn't take it] I get banned for enchanting. This is getting on my nerves. Please bring the old .org back. please. It wasn't causing any crime... ban the people with the "clients" you don't like. All I ask is for the people who don't use clients [Me] to not be punished. I lost 28 iron, 12k, Diamond pic, mase123456789 lost 60 iron and 12k. This is irratating

 

If people use hacked clients for actual illegal stuff or fly, they will simply be kicked for "Flying is not enabled on this server" by going to server.properies and switching allow-flight or something like that to "false"

Yeah. We had NoCheatPlus, then he added AntiCheat - which we all immediatley hated because you couldn't walk on half slabs or soulsand - and then he was like "Whoops, let's remove it all together" and then NoCheatPlus lingered... We thought we had won. We thought it was over. We were wrong, oh so very wrong.

I haven't had a single problem and I hack everything.

 

It's fine now, yes it's still glitchy, but that's because I have hacks.

We want org to be fair, so don't use hacks

 

Oh well that's nice to hear. Yet, I've turned off all my hacks and I still have a glitchy game. It's causing problems for those without hacks and doesn't do much to stop those who do hack anyhow. In my view the plugin is virtually useless as I have flying permissions yet I get kicked for flying.

It is good to hear that some people are still enjoying the game but myself and others are still finding the plugin quite unnecessary

 

It's not unnecessary, it's quite needed. Most people use kill aura, to farm mobs, some use fast place for things, or what not, in general people use hacks to benefit themselves. It's not fair and it ruins an Economy server.

I think maybe adding a new anti cheat plugin, with less glitches, might benefit the sever, and it's people.
