Hi, I have bought spawn eggs and tried to spawn animals on my island, they wouldn't spawn (nothing would happen to the spawn egg) so I thought maybe there isn't enough grass around so i spread everything out and traded tirelessly to get a huge area with nothing but grass and still the mobs wont spawn, I can't spawn mobs on my own island. If anyone can help with this that would be greatly appreciated - Auzz1eboy
This is SkyBlock.Org, is this correct? If so, there is currently a bug with spawning mobs on islands due to island protection (I think.) It's to prevent people from spawning possibly hostile mobs or to many mobs killing you or lagging you to death >.>
I know the dispenser trick did not work on net, and the egg disappeared. So at this time I believe the only way to get mobs is by throwing chicken eggs for chickens and spawner cages for all other mobs. If you live close to someone with a spawner, they may be able to fly some mobs to your island too.
