Hello everyone! My name is xXCutePuppyXx, or for short, Puppy and I’m applying to be a moderator for SkyBlock (.NET), my favourite server, which has became my life in Minecraft! I have been part of the Sky Block community for eight months and now is the time for me to give back to YOU. Here is my application!

My in-game name:
My IGN is xXCutePuppyXx. However, you will most likely spot me with my nickname, “Puppy.”

My timezone:
My timezone is +10 AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time). I live in Melbourne, Australia. For your information Australian Eastern Standard Time is 14 hours ahead of North American Eastern Time and 17 hours ahead of North American Pacific Time. Languages I speak:
I speak fluent English and conversational Croatian and Italian. In other words, I can’t speak Croatian and Italian fluently when responding to people. I am learning as I go. I will be more than pleased to welcome all new members in Croatian and Italian if needed.

My ban reputation:
Other than being kicked for "flying" glitches, I have been banned once. Unfortunately I am ashamed to say that I have been banned before for stealing in the past when I was a noob. I am now currently aware that stealing/scamming is a high offense and I know all the rules from #1-#15 by heart, so I will never ever make a mistake. Breaking the rules again would definitely result in a ban from my favorite server. That is something I do not plan on happening. You should not have any doubt about me following the rules. Everyone makes mistakes and accidents and learn from them.

Why pick me?
I am a community activist and I am not appealing to be a moderator for the power that you have over the other players within the community. Despite the fact that it is a dire responsibility of a moderator to bring unbiased justice, being a moderator is also about being a active member and giving back to the community. This is something I remind myself about when appealing to be a moderator. I believe greatly in enforcing the rules of the places that I care for. I have also had the coveted experience with being a co-owner for another server that I can name upon request. I have also been moderators and administrators for other servers which are currently down at this moment. I am very aware of the rules and the punishment system that is being enforced at SkyBlock.

In addition, I have the characteristics of fairness, helpfulness, and kindness. I have the experience. I am mature. I am friendly. I am honest. I have all the reason why I would hold the position of a moderator. If someone needs help I am the one that will help out.

In addition, I will try my best to be active on the forums and in-game. With this being said, I would like to thank Frozeninja sincerely because she dedicates her time and efforts to helping out on the forum and in-game. She is an inspiration for all of us and I intend to be the same for our community. I think I should be a moderator because I am appealing to be here for YOU, the Skyblock community. I am here to help you and I truly believe I can help change our community for the better.

I have a very versatile schedule. I attend school and that means between the times of 7am-3pm I will most likely not be active. I can be online during the hours of 4 PM AEST to 10:00 PM AEST on WEEKDAYS.

This includes being online in-game AND on the forums all at once. I try my best to come earlier too, knowing that SkyBlock is an international server with people coming from Europe and North America as well.

On WEEKENDS I can play longer because I am not in school session.

During SCHOOL HOLIDAYS, which can be two-week breaks at the end of each school term, and public holidays, I can be on longer... from 7AM-11 PM AEST. (4PM - 8AM American CST)

As much as I LOVE SkyBlock, I just simply cannot play that often during CHRISTMAS and EASTER as I am with my family.

Past Experience:
As I mentioned earlier, I have had myriads of opportunities to look over a server. I am willing to mention the servers I have moderated and co-owned if it is requested of me. I am familiar with rollback, essentials, and other plugins. I was taught, when I co-owned a server, when I should give a chance and when I should ban someone without bias. In addition I have played on SkyBlock for around 8 months. From the past few months, I have learned what a proper moderator should be like on SkyBlock, knowing the difference between right and wrong. Furthermore, I am willing to learn commands that is required to do the job.

Well, that concludes my application! Of course no one is PERFECT. If you do not agree with me being a moderator and helping YOU, I would like your to let me know what I could improve on. If you have not seen me on the server that often, It is most likely because you are not in the same time zone as me. I will try my best to meet all of you

 

I give this a Support! In my opinion, you may not have a great of a past, but from what I've seen, you have changed for the best. Puppy has the potential to be a great staff member, and is an awesome candidate for the SkyBlock server. One suggestion though is to become more active in the forums, as you have not posted that much. Other than that, I'm so glad you made this, and I'm happy I get the first post.

For all those who have doubt in their mind if Puppy would be a good mod, pelase remove that doubt now. Puppy would be a great SkyBlock moderator, and you have my full fledged support. I feel that you deserve it.

Thanks for your suggestions. I would like to point out that some people like colours whereas some people do not. Ironically, the reason why I tried to add as much colour, formatting as possible, was actually because of a reply you made to another person.


I could make a black and white version if you need me too. I just like using colour as it attracts people and makes it look nicer. Thanks for the suggestion though, I will keep that in mind.

One suggestion I would give you is not to use lmao and lol and wow when responding to applications. It gave me an uncomfortable feeling, but I can take it, coming from a 11 year old. I mentioned donor in my app just to introduce myself. It is not used to help my appeal or not. It was just simply part of my introduction. I will remove it if it's mandatory. Sorry.

Let's start off with the application. I can't read it due to my eye sensitivity. The colors are WAY too crazy. Pick one or two colors and stick with those. DO NOT MENTION DONOR RANKS IN YOUR APPLICATION. Your forums activity is pretty bad, and you need to work on maturity, from what I've seen atleast.
