Below is my honest view on being a non-donor and having a certain donor rank and its advantages in general, apart from what is described in BuyCraft shop. May be inaccurate as it is based on my experience.

How does it feel to be non-donor:

Your messages disappear in the flow of other green messages and this is the main reason why other players don't notice your extremely advantageous and limited offers on banners and god items. It is really hard to trade with other players as they don't trust you and you're unable to earn trust for a long time. Server aristocracy doesn't consider you as a normal person and will probably ignore your private and public messages. It is also difficult to become rich due to the listed reasons above.

How does it feel to be orange donor (10, 25, 50):
Your chat activity is easily noted as you're the owner of fancy prefix. Players begin to trust you and it is not that hard anymore to trade. You're the influent and possibly wealthy figure of the server, you take part in buying rares and selling them. In your drop parties participate crowds of people, as they know that majority of donors are rich players, plus you get a bunch of cool permissions, what relieves the hardcore and fast rhythm of skyblock life. Plus, you get an access to /warp donor, a shop of unique and exotic items.

How does it feel to be Donor 100:
You are the admired and well-known skyblock citizen, trading and earning trust is not even an existing issue for you anymore. Your chat messages are easily noticed as you get light blue prefix and apart from a variety of color codes. Dying and hunger are not problems also as you get a god mode which prevents from getting any harm. As other donor ranks you get permission to /kit, which gives you a lot of valuable and useful items. All other lower donor ranks' advantages are included in this rank as well.

How does it feel to be SkyGod:
You're literally the centre of skyblock society, all your messages will be noticed, no matter what they are about. You get ability to add colours in your nickname and have any colour Donor or SkyGod prefix. You receive a pleasant bonus from donating in 32 diamonds and 8 spawners and access to /kit god that contains even diamonds. It is simple for you to become rich on the server.

How does it feel to be Donor 400:
You're extremely rich in real life kid, why would someone even spend $400 on a Minecraft server just for a rank? African kids could've eaten those banknotes. Jeez.

I only bought my donor 10 to 25. Didn't spend a single rare item, or anything on it. All I do is give to be honest. Getting others upgraded, and what not. :)

I have to honestly say... most of this is pretty true... It's quite hard to earn trust as a greenie, and donor makes life so much easier. However, the stuff about skygod is a bit blown out of proportion

The greenie part of this especially is sadly true. They do find it hard to branch out and make good friendships, even though there are amazing greenies out there. You just disappear into the flow of "BANNER SHOP HERE OMGGGG" messages. It's a shame.
I do disagree with part of the Skygod thing though.
"All your messages will be noticed, no matter what it's about"
There are some skygods that I find incredibly irritating and couldn't care about if I tried. I ignore a lot of Skygod messages, especially with the new people who I have no idea who they are.

I didn't buy myself donor100; my friend did. If he wouldn't have, I would still be donor25...

    Anyway, donor 100 rox

Some of it is true, I mean like most of it depends on your personality and how well known you are. Yeah, we all see some greenbeans spam every day. But, some donors do that too. I've seen annoying and not very experienced donors, and I know greenbeans that gain my trust by just getting to know them. So, if you get to know the community better, more people will gain your trust no matter what rank.
Many people judge people by their rank, which pisses me off a lot. All I'm saying is, donor ranks don't increase your trust, or experience. It's your personality and how you treat others, in my opinion.

I wonder if it was worth buying donor, because as a greenie I enjoyed the challenges as you can't fly or do other fancy commands. I got donor due to the kit, but now so many newbies ask me for stuff and it's very annoying since I don't know any of them at all. Still, I think I would like to be a greenie again, due to the fact I don't like being noticed by most people.

As I have been a greenie for a pretty long while, yes it did suck the fact that I could not trade with many donors because I was a greenie. It sucked many donors would seclude greenies from just about everything.

And you made it look like the rank shows experience and not every donor is well known or .. experienced. I have seen sky god noobs before and it's kinda funny that they bought a high rank and are no problem even sure how to play skyblock. But nevertheless it is their money to spend I guess.

Idk back in 2013 and early 2014 I had a pretty good time as a greenbean on .Net x) (No I wasn't mod on .Org at the time, I hadn't even joined .Org I don't think) Yes I had to deal with chat but that wasn't a big deal unless I needed to trade for items that weren't already in /warp grass. I mainly just stayed to myself and just worked on my island alone with the occasional chat with someone about something.

This is so sadly true. However, there's that bit of satisfaction once you're a greenie and you've worked so hard on your island, worked by the rules with no help other than your own abilities as an MC Player, and a donor sees you and gets amazed. I've met some donors that I outrank to an extent and it's made me so much more proud of what I've done. I am a Greenie, and I am proud :D

Yeah sad truth. Although you cant really label 250- 400 donors as rich kids or whatever. Many people dont even upgrade themselves. Possibly they were rich in game but yeah.

I know I find many skygods obnoxious to say the least.
I struggled getting noticed as a greenie so I donated $10 (and for the god class at mob arena).
But I realised that at most ranks its the same thing with getting noticed, its really about your personality and how you appear. I wasn't very "noticed" until I got 50 donor and then skygod, while using the forums a lot.
But pretty much, this is skyblock life.

I've been everything except skygod, so here's my interpretation
Greenie - I wasn't on skyblock for the community for a while. I played with one IRL friend, didn't pay much attention to the chat. Then I was basically alone on my island, started paying attention to chat, but nobody noticed me.
Donor10 - I got it for the kit and god in /ma j. Still a complete loser in the community. No forums account yet. Maybe some friends, maybe not idk.
Donor25 - This is the one I remember making friends. This loser was one of the first. Plus a ton of other people once I had a skygod to "cling to" (lmao). Made a forums account during this time I think.
Donor50 - Established in the community. Lots of friends, from skygods to greenies (although they were less common). Applied for mod.
T-Mod - People are all glowy and happy like "omg congratsss". You realize the commands you have are actually pretty limited. People may not take you seriously.
Moderator - People see you as the police, but also celebrities. They like to take screenshots with their butt on your head. You're respected the most in my opinion.
