Soz, uh, my eight grade class(we just graduated) decided to have a desert potluck for no reason... I dont particularly want to buy something store-bought, and im not like, a chef (though I can cook pretty well), soz... any simple, tasty, desserts that you guys would recommend? preferably something fruity, i guess
... o_o All of these are too fancy.. Grace's homemade Jelly pie~ Take stale bread because normal bread is too mainstream. Get some jelly/jam Put it on stale bread Put another slice on top Cut it into little shades because its cute as hell. Put Nutella on it, or some fake bargain brand. BAM INSTANT CHEAP MEAL. XD JK in all honestly you should make Oreo cheesecake, Its really good.
Strawberry Dessert Pizza! Easy, Yummy ad Fun! Mommy's Kitchen - Home Cooking & Family Friendly Recipes: Strawberry Dessert Pizza I made it years ago for a party when I was in school, and everyone loved it.
Why not like a chocolate pie or apple pie? If you're not used to making desserts I'd go for something simple but tasty
Thanks for all the suggestions! but in the end, uh... I didn't take any of your ideas, sorry though thanks to SomebodyCalledJ for... i guess, an idea for an idea? idek. Anyways... made this:
Well I didn't see this yesterday xD was gonna say jello rolls. so good. easy to make and like $3. Jello of your flavoring and marshmallows. pour half the box with 1 and 1/3 cup of water microwave till clear. break marshmallows in smaller bits and place on top the mix for 45 sec. mix and pour into a mellow pan/flat pan (spray non stick oil on bottom of pan for non stick) place in fridge for 2 hours. pull out and take out the jello from the pan. now roll it like a cake. cut and serve :3 (you can mix colors and such too! but it's harder)
Bruh I love chocolate dipped strawberries, but the BEST fruity dessert is as follows. You get a shallow cookie sheet, with like inch tall sides. You crunch up graham crackers. You mix the crumbs with some butter I think, maybe something else I forget. Flatten that out in the bottom. Then you get a ton of cream cheese. You can sweeten it a lil with sugar if you want, but that's up to you. Let that stuff soften up, then scoop it in the pan. Let it sit and settle out. Then you get flavored junk. We use strawberries and some strawberry jelly, but you can also use literally any kind of fruity pie filling. POUR THAT JUNK ON. Not too heavy, just enough to basically cover the cream cheese. It's okay if there are bare spots, just kinda drizzle it on. Stick em in the fridge. When they're hardened up some, take them out, cut them. I swear to god they are the best dessert ever.
