Support, I dont know why tmods dont have the same commands as normal mods because surely the point of Tmod is to check if they are good enough to be mod but how can they if they dont have full mod commands?

 

Giving TMods all the moderator commands would defeat the purpose of there being the rank. There are some commands which TMods do not have access to due to them potentially being abused, the rank is there to gain trust and then to promote them to a moderator.
If I remember correctly, TMods on org at least do not have /afk due to them not being allowed to be afk. They are the 'new mods' and when you're new you really shouldn't be away from your screen, you should be active, online and interacting with the community and helping where you can - giving bigger tasks as such to the moderators and SMods. I do understand the rule of TMods not permitted to be afk has changed over time and it is more acceptable now as it was 11 months ago when I left, so adding /afk to the trial moderator rank wouldn't cause too much harm.

Overall I don't think the trial mods need it so much, as they can just leave the game when they are away, yet it seems like a wanted command.

 

The only thing is theres no point in having Trial Mods if they are not being trialled on how good a mod they will be. I kinda feel the more like full mod they are the more likely they will be able to cope with being a mod.

 

Just log out, I remember ScoFu telling me why /afk isn't a good idea and that's why we don't really get it on Mineverse. Tmod is fine as it is.

 

You see it's a work up process. If you imagine a first time swimmer, you don't just toss them into the deepest part of the sea, you start small and build up. It's stepping stones. You go from member, to TMod to Mod, to SMod etc. etc. and TMods get a little less to deal with so they're not overwhelmed I guess. The system is fine as is, but if there is such a demand for this command, I myself am not sure I can argue against the demand.

There is no real point in posting this here, if you think that trial moderators on .org should get /afk then bring that up with cyp or crew.
But this is something that doesn't affect the whole server does it?
you could just change your nickname to AFK or something, then people could understand.

But, yea i see your point, just don't post it here, the admins hardly ever come to this page.
Start a pm with cyp, crew or zambi and then they will like 'discuss' or whatever they do
