Welcome to my application! Hopefully when coming here you have both seen me online and know who I am, if not, well, you are more than welcome to! :) I made this application because I feel that .org is in need of more moderators, and I have both the experience and personality needed to fill out such a spot. No matter if you agree or disagree, please do put down your thoughts here. And thank you for taking your time reading through :)

    Your in-game name:

    Gnollmar

    How old are you?
    23 (24 this august)

    What timezone are you in?
    GMT+1 Central europe

What country do you live in?
    Norway (nortwestern tip of europe)

    What languages do you speak?
    Norwegian (1st)
    English (fluent)
German (can understand and speak a bit)
Japanese (mainly romanji, kanji is hard :p )

Have you ever been banned? (if yes, why?)
Nope, haven't been banned before. I did break the size limit on .net before knowing the rules when i joined skyblock before, but that's only rule ive broken. After the protection plugin came to .net, my 200*200 sized island didn't work much anymore :p

Why do you think you should be a mod?
Because in my opinion, I have what is needed to be a mod. I have the experience and personality needed. One of the reasons I think I should be a mod is because I don't want to be a mod for myself, but for the server. As it is right now, there are times when no mods are online, in theory having two or three mods on at the time would be best, this would make it possible for the mods to both help out people and do serious moderating at the same time. With only one mod online for example, reacting the right way to for example the chat can be hard, if the mod already is busy with something else.

    What qualifications do you have?

    Experience
    - I've hosted my own server, making me know how the different plugins works, and how to and not to act as a mod. I've seen what power can do to people, and I don't plan on succumbing to it myself.
    - In games, in used to being the 2nd guild leader, or the "shadow leader" :p What this means is that Im used to moderating guilds and chats, while usually another person takes the positive credits for it xP

    Personality
    - I am honest to the core, I can joke around, but you will never see me directly lie. This is just as much in real life too. Its both a good thing, and a bad thing.
    - I am talkative in the game chat, this makes it easier for people to take contact, seeing as they will feel safer if they are shy. Especially for kids and the like, that might be too afraid to report if they are griefed etc.
    - I am strict, rules are there for a reason! If I see someone break the rules, il of course warn them, and if they continue i'd take the needed actions.
    - I am friendly this doesn't mean that I let my friends go away from breaking the rules, but rather that I like giving people chances. I usually just write a personal report, so that if something happens again, il take it up at that time. This of course can mean that ban appeals would be harder, as you already would have been warned before ;)

    Other
    -
I am active, which of course means I can help out when needed more often. Though of course, being active in itself is important.
    - I am good at coding, this might not help much on the applications itself, but im good at finding faults in plugins and such. I can realise that someone has found an exploit and find out how they did it, without just banning them, never to find out how. I also have a bachelor degree in computer science, but who cares about that? :p

How long can you be active on the server everyday?

I can promise 1-2 hours every day. Though, I have had about 6 hours daily average since the restart. I guess a normal day is about 3-4 hours online playing, though, 8 hours of just having the game on a second screen while doing something else :p

How long have you been playing skyblock.org?

I've played on .org since the restart, I played on .net before it, seeing as the differences on .org was so big that I didn't want to start there. The reset was a perfect opportunity for me.

Since the restart I've played quite a lot daily, and most people have probably seen me in chat at least once ^^

(Checking my stats, ive played 14 hours daily since the restart, though that's also with the game on a second screen while watching movies, playing other games, etc.)

Do you have any past experience as a moderator?

    In minecraft:
    - Ive had helped title on a bigger server, which gave me the commands to help people with /modreq and kicking.
    - I have had my own server hosted from my own computer, it was called PhoenixCraft. It of course doesn't exist anymore (which is why this doesn't count as advertising). I gave up on it when bukkit stopped coming with updates and most of the plugins stopped working.
-> As an ex-owner I personally know what is needed of a mod, and more important, what is NOT needed. Seeing as a mod can be as good as they want, but in the end, the bad sides is more important, seeing as most things can be learned through experience.

I know how to use most plugins, and have experience with them. Ive done some recoding on some of the plugins myself, seeing as I have a bachelor degree in computer science, but havent done anything professional, mainly just tweaking the plugins.

Support :D You'd make a pretty good moderator!

Just some things you should work on:
    1. Talk more in chat
    2. I don't see you helping, you might /msg them :p
    That's about it, support tho!

Well, I pretty much get a whisper asking me about something every time I say I have a shop :p Have helped replacing lost buckets and such with my hardearnned iron. Helped a couple with how to make chest shops and just given away some wool when asked when they have seen my wool-topia :p
Though, when it comes to "see me helping", well, only thing others can see is whats said in chat I guess and well .. to give an answer, a question has to be asked ^^ And "can I have money" "can you donate to my island" etc. well, I don't really count that as helping, even though I do it a few times :) (as you would know! xD)
