I suggest that with /nick it is put that we cannot have the same nick as someone else. I had at least 4 or 5 people nick abuse me saying aweful things. I think that /nick should be changed so we can't have the same nick OR we have to ask Admin for /nick change.

No support on the admin part, as that would add about 7x the amount of people asking for things (Change of island ownerships, prefix changes, nick changes, getting spawners back on .org and .net, etc.

    Quite true.
There may be some other way that prevents people on having the same nick somewhere...

If there was something blocking it, people would just find a way around it.
Like instead of nicking themselves Megadorkvikki, it would be Megadorkvlkki. Just one letter or number off.

It would be too large of a task for admin to change the /nicks.

The best way to get someone to stop is to ignore them, honestly.
Act like it doesn't bother you (even if it does) and just keep doing what you're doing.
    They'll lose interest.

The problem with doing this is that someone can /nick abuse you and say vulgar/otherwise horrible things, and someone who might not know you're being abused could report you and repercussions could be falsely applied. Ignoring it would be quite bad in this case, because people are less likely to report you if you (sometimes repeatedly) say that you're being abused in chat rather than just saying nothing. If you say nothing in response, people will likely believe it was you who said something a /nick abuser said and are more likely to go ahead and attempt to get you banned or muted.

There's literally no way you could prevent people from having a nickname like that. You'd either have to take nicknames away totally, or have someone else change it for you. On another server, we have staff change the names of donors. You can only change it once a month, and it has to be relevant to your name only. For example, I could have the nickname Crawling, or xCrawlingx, etc., but it has to have my name in it. That's what we should have here.

No support, Having /nick is a donor perk which people look forward to, this will also take away from skygods color's name and its already hard for them to get their prefix skygod name changed enough, this would be knocking out two donor perks at once. Also nick abusers usually get punished and if not report them to a mod and they will be. No support.

How often does this really happen? That's a pretty extreme case.
If you worry about being nick abused, you're more likely to become a target.

If you see it happening and it bothers you enough, screenshot it and report it. If "vulgar and horrible things" are said, why would you report yourself? Mods understand.

Announcing your frustration to the entire chat, even to clarify things, just fuels their fire and they will continue the nick abuse.

It is to prevent nick abuse. Listen. Having the ADMIN change your nick is an alternative.

As I said Nick abuse doesn't happen often and the people who do can get reported, still no support.

You've also nicked abuse people as well, and to be honest I have once too. And there were a few times were me and my friends changed our nicks around to have the other persons name, It was all in good fun, and fun times I would like to have again possibly, so once again still no support XD

You know the situations real when Chibi gives no support twice. That's not only no support, it's negative support. It's when you have so little support it dips under the scale and death claims many kittens.

Nick abuse isn't against the rules though, well it is if you impersonate staff or act like another person, taking the name is fine.
