All of it was just a miss understanding that I could not move my grass (that I bought for the use of my pumpkin farm) to another island.. I’ve had experience on many servers, but i’m only moderating if i’m not currently helper, moderator, admin, etc… So i’m only focused on moderating for skyblock.org not any other server. My summer just started. Meaning that I’m out of school and I can dedicate all the time I’m on minecraft to the server. Mod or not, the server can be played on for hours without knowing… The server seems to have a lot of advertisers although about 50% of the time a moderator is on. But if there isn’t a moderator on, you’d have to go to the forums and get him banned/mute through there. I being online for around 4-7hours, there is usually 1, out of the time I’m on, advertisers without a moderator online… I’d also like to experiment with a bigger server as a moderator, all the servers i’ve been moderator on are 10-15 player servers. I know all the basic and advanced commands: kick, ban, mute, etc… ( And yes I don’t think TMod has advanced permission/commands) It doesn’t matter what rank you have or how “popular” you are, you still are no different than any other person. So I’m saying it doesn’t matter who you are, you’re still getting the same punishment as any other player. I think 0-2 moderators on at once sometime isn’t enough because they can easily be handling with something else, unaccessible, or just simply AFK. With the new Skyblock, there is an average of 50-70 players on at once, and that one moderator (or non at all online) it will be hard to deal with spammers, advertisers, etc… I happen to be online when there is only 1-2 moderators online at once, and one being AFK. I treat everyone with respect, like an individual, and equality. I touched into this above, but that was just the punishments. I do NOT abuse the power that I have. I understand when it is redundant to use it. It has taken a couple of years to understand what it feels like to get abused on a server after it has happened to me sometimes. I think with the rank it is easier to get people to listen to you, it is like without staff prefix/permission(commands) it is hard to get SOME people to listen you. I also would never come on if i’m stressed because I would not want to take it out on a player that did nothing. Which is only if a test is coming up and I can easily decrease the stress by taking a break from everything and relax. What qualifications do you have? Grammar: Grammar is a huge thing for me although sometimes I might mess up. I just like speaking english correctly. Fast Typer: I believe this is a good qualification to have fore the reason of pm (private messages) and responding to them. With the new sky block there are tons more players, and I think moderators/staff members get a lot of private messages Respectful: I respect what people believe and what they say, but if they’re saying immature things and they’ll loose my respect and would have to build it back up. Responsible: I'm responsible in many ways; for example, with the permissions/commands you get with mod, I will not abuse that. Another one is when it comes to relying on me. Patient: I’m patient but it comes to an extent, like after 3-5months i’ll start becoming inpatient. But explaining to people how to make a shop or telling then how to do something does not make me become inpatient. Kind: All the time I give people my money that I earn or items. Also I’m also positive and fun to be around. Mature: I’m mature when it is 100% needed, but if some people are just joking around I might play along to an extent ( If it starts to become spam or inappropriate). Enforcer?: I’ll always be enforcing the rules, no matter the rank, or popularity the rules apply to everyone. Honest: It is better to tell the truth than a lie, but taking the responsibility you have as a moderator you need to tell the truth all the time when it is serious. And I think I’m honest 99.99% of the time! Writing: I put this down simply because I enjoy writing quick and short post, or long and time consuming post. Intelligent: I love to learn, as of right now I’m learning java and html because I wish to choose a carrier in Computer Engineering. In school I never have to worry about failing a class or getting grounded because of failing. Helping: I love to help show people the ways of the server, sometimes I give away some of my money or items to help them. Just another way to help the players. Active On Forums: I’ve started to become active on the forums as well on the server although I’ve never had an account until now. Attitude: I always have a positive attitude, if I didn’t i’d try to get rid of all the negative/angry and come back later when I feel like I can be on. Active: I’m extremely active, hours and hours can pass by without even noticing. I think this is good for the reason being, I can moderator the server for long periods of times. Competitive: I’m really competitive, or I’m just trying to be the best I can. But I know when it gets annoying and when I need to stop. Dedicated: This is something I go by. I’m never staff on two servers. I stay focused on that server I’m staff on until I think i’ve done my job and its time to go on. How long can you be active on the server everyday?
