That's kinda racist o3o and not true, lol. cx just a creepypasta. If someone committed suicide after hearing this it was likely because of outside influences.

Here's the science of the creepypasta: the original track for Lavender Town used two channels and caused children to get minor headaches. It was changed in the US release. There was no spike of suicides in Japan or any other country in the 1990s (when it was released) or at least, in children (there was a small spike in adults for economic reasons). This creepypasta only took to the skies in 2010-ish, and surely if it had happened, it would have been investigated earlier. Sure, Lavender Town is creepy for a kids game, but it never caused a mass suicide. I'm sorry that your friend died though :c my condolences.
