The title speaks the way of truth. But Im not thinking anymore. I know I just left. but now I have made my decision. Here is how I will put it: Do you want to be that Couch Potato still on minecraft when you're 30? no. just no. NO WAY. Im not quitting Mc (not McDonald's LOL) out of anger, but because of the fact that Its a COMPLETE waste of time. Here is the reason: Oh yay! you just finished the AMAZING redstone computer! good job! It took AGES! (2 MONTHS LATER) "are you sure you would like to delete the world `Redstone Computer World`?" *clicks yes* Do you SEE what I mean??? So Im not leaving minecraft in the rain forever- Ill come back in 2 years when Im in middle school. Deal? ok. BUT, Im not quite finished yet. I will be playing Scrolls. You don't have to waste your time. It's a game dude that people enjoy playing in their spare time.. jeez.
I completely waste my time drawing, playing video games, watching Tv, listening to music.. But I also have a job, will be starting school soon, and am trying to start my own business. Those "complete wastes of time" are called "something I do in my free time" or "hobbies" for a reason. Just because someone plays a game, no matter their age, doesnt mean they will grow up to be or turn into vegetables. But anyway, enjoy your leave, however long it really lasts.
the goal of minecraft is just to have fun, lol. we aren't really working towards a major goal, or something. It's like all video games. You don't ACTUALLY gain anything of irl value.
It's only as pointless as you make it. Spend your time making friends and having legitimately life changing experiences (I know it sounds exaggerated, but it's true) and it's worth the time. Either way, if I did work and not-fun things every minute of my life, I'd go insane.
