Hello.
If you created forum account and are viewing this thread right now, that means that you would like to know this community better and want to understand the main basics of these forums: how to create threads in the right sections, comment on threads or statuses, post statuses, view alerts and rate posts. Warning you that tutorial for each of these actions is very detailed as it is appliable for completely unfamiliar with XenFero forums users too.

1. Creating threads.
To create thread you need to click "Forums" button at the top of the page in the dark blue line. After performing that, decide about what you would like to post about and choose the correct section. Choose carefully, as by posting unrelated content in certain sections you cause extra work for forum moderators.
After that fill out the thread info and create name for it. Click "Create Thread" button below the thread content box. If you did everything correctly, your thread will pop in "Recent Threads" bar on the main forums page.

2. Commenting on threads and statuses.
You viewed someone's thread or status and want to talk about it or express opinion. To do that select thread you want to comment on and scroll down until you reach the comment box. Write your comment and then click "Post Reply" button. To comment on statuses open someone's profile and click on "Comment" button below the status in the right corner. Write your comment in a box that will appear and then click on "Post Comment" button.

3. Posting statuses.
If you want to tell about yourself in a few words or leave a short message for other forum members or in simple words post a status, you need to visit your page. To perform that find in the right top corner your username and point your cursor on it or click it. After that a box will appear with a lot of options and you need to click on your name in it. This will redirect you to your profile page. You'll immediately notice box with "Update your status" on it. Write whatever you want and then click "Post" button below. Notice that there is 150 characters limit for statuses.

4. Viewing alerts.
You noticed that title "Alerts" in top right corner is now different and now there is red bubble with number in it apart from title. This means that someone either replied to you or rated your posts or etc. To view your alerts click or point cursor on "Alerts". This will result in appearing new box, describing what actions were performed upon you and your activity.

5. Rating posts.
You want to express your opinion about someone's post on certain thread, but don't want to explain your position. In this case a rating tool comes in handy. To rate someone's post find emoticons near it and click on one of them. If you clicked on one of them accidentaly or want to undo your rating, click on " Undo Rating" button below the post in the right corner.
