I live in UTC -5, eastern USA. I know that there are many moderators in my time zone; the problem is that very few of them are on at peak times. I am usually on from 7pm to 11pm for my time zone and it’s lucky if I see a mod. I would like a chance to fill this gap and make the server a better place. Which languages do you speak? I speak English fluently and very, very basic Spanish. Have you ever been banned? (if yes, why?) Yes, I have been banned, many times. I am not proud of this and I would like to apologize to everyone. I lied in my appeals and I knew it was wrong. I thought I could talk my way out of punishment and learned that I couldn’t. I have matured passed that and have learned that lying creates more problems and stress on everyone involved. Why do you think you should be a mod? I think I would make a good addition to the staff team because I am a firm voice and am not afraid to run over someone’s toes to finish my job. I believe this fact sets me apart from many other applicants who are so worried about feelings that they don’t do the job correctly. If you ask me a question, you get a straight answer and nothing else. I don’t try to go behind your back or try to sugar coat my answer. Because of my past ban appeals, I have become very hard on myself to maintain my honesty and to keep my personal values close to my heart. I know there are many things I need to improve on. Things such as my temper when dealing with difficult people and keeping my cool when people try to get under my skin. I am working diligently on these things and I want to be the best I can be for this server. It is has become a huge part of me and it kills me to see it so unhealthy. How long can you be active on the server every day? I can be active on the server for about 3-4 hours on week days (Can be higher or lower, depending on homework or sports, etc). On weekends I usually don’t have my computer but I can be on and off of Minechat. Do you have any past experience as a moderator? I do have some, however not on the scale of skyblock. I was a mod on a small factions server for around a month. It was closed, however, due to lack of funds and stress on the owner. I am familiar with the duties of a moderator and most commands associated with the position. I am also well acquainted with appropriate punishments and length of mutes/tempbans. I also know the stress and commitment that comes with this position. I am perfectly ready to cope with these. Final Note Before you give me your feedback, please note that I am not adding color because I feel that it distracts from the purpose of my application. If you don’t see me “helping” in chat, this is because I do not want to add extra spam to it; I avoid telling people to stop spamming or to stop using caps because it is useless. They do not listen to someone like me unless they receive a punishment, i.e. a kick and/or mute. This is one reason I decided I apply; I want to be able to do something productive with my time since I have become bored of my island. I mostly lurk on the forums; I find it annoying to comment on every single thread but I will try to improve my activity. Also in-game, I do try my best to help people but I am limited to what I can do. Will try to improve. I am going to give you 80% support. You seem like a friendly character. You are easy to approach. I don't see you much in game because of the timezones although I have seen you a couple of times. I understand why you don't want to add colour but maybe colour the titles? In blue or a dark green. Your quite active on the forums but could be a bit more active I suppose To earn my last 20% support you need to don't the things above. Good luck!
