So there is a known bug with diamond blocks. This is pretty common. I lost a diamond block during one of my streams. To prevent future loss I took my remaining diamonds out of block form. I am suggesting that there be a modification to make it so diamond blocks cannot be crafted anymore. That way there is no risk of glitch loss. This would prevent the numerous reports of missing blocks. What do you think?
Definitely support! I've seen many people losing stacks of diamond blocks because of the glitch, and I don't want more people losing them.
People who are rich use db for aesthetics on their island. I don't support them not being able to be crafted, but I do support some sort of fix for this. Edit, also, if diamond blocks will no longer be craftable, diamond blocks will become rare and sell for much more than the 9 they are made from, which will make not only the economy bad, but will make the rich and poor population for separated than they already are
I support the fix obviously but not getting rid of crafting diamond blocks. It's good for decoration and it's a lot neater that way in chests
Okay I have no idea what is causing the bug, but I really doubt that it will be that hard to fix. Probably a lot more work to disable crafting of them, rather than just fixing the glitch itself.
Well, there is one positive thing about this glitch. When diamonds are lost and mods are unable to refund, it helps to increase the value of the diamond. Sure the player may ragequit, but at least it helps to balance the so-called "economy". Oh also, if players ragequit due to denial of refund than less kits are collected, reducing the number of diamonds brought in. Yay for ragequits!
