My teacher asked this question to everyone.

You are in a room with 2 doors. One leads to freedom, other leads to death. However, you aren't the only one in there. There is two other people in the room. Both knowing which door is which. One always says the truth, but one always lie. You don't know who tells the truth and who tells the lie. You can only ask one question to one person. What will you ask? (Remember, you don't know who is the truthful and who is the lier)

I would ask one person, "If I asked you, "which door leads to freedom?" and I asked it twice, which door would you tell me?" The person who speaks the truth, would tell you the right door, both times, the person who lies would have lied and told you the wrong door, but would then have to lie about the lie and tell you the right door, so they both say the same door. The answer is something like that, but basically the concept is to get them to answer twice, with only one question.

Lol I'll tell them to go through the door they think is the one to freedom, it'll make the one that lies hesitate and not do it while the one who doesn't lie would just walk through.

I'd open one of the doors and shove one of em out, and see what happens.
    Oh, I'm a cruel person.

    Actually, no.
The person who lies doesn't need to lie about the lie. He only needs to lie about the answer.

Well he lies about his answer, which would have been a lie, therefore telling the truth.

Why the hell are you in a room with 2 other people in the first place?

Are we forgetting that the doors themselves control life and death, time and space?

The doors control all. They can see into your eyes; they can see into your soul.

Oh that's right! The question you have to ask is, "If I had come here 5 minutes earlier and asked you which door led to freedom, what would you have told me?" The truth teller would tell the truth, and the liar would have to lie about the answer he would have given, which would have been a lie in it's own right. This means that whoever you ask, they will tell you the door that leads to freedom.

    OMG I know!
It never said you had to ask the same question.
I'll go to one of them and ask: "Why do you like lying?" Since it's not a yes no question, you can't lie to it xD
If that person turns out to be speaking the truth, I'll ask the other person what door is what, and just reverse it.
And if that person turns out to be lying, then... Yeah xP

If you ask the guard who always tell the truth "Are you the guard of the door of death" he'll say he is, If you ask the guard who always lies the same question he will say the opposite. In either case, both guards will point to the door of death so you should choose the other one.

I'd just count to the number 14.
    Whatever door is on 14.
    I go through that door.

Shove them both into a door and see if they die, if they do use the other door.
