Hello. I wish to keep this short for simplicity and brevity.

Recently, a member by the name of Diamondninja1121 was banned for griefing another person's island, which resulted in a permanent ban. This member--who has no other transgressions against any other players or the server--honestly did not know that this was someone else's island. He had been under the impression that this was a give-away party to which he had received a tprequest to. He had even admitted it to the owner of said island. However, he was still banned for this despite coming clean to the act.

Now, I would like to appeal to remove his ban so that he may again join and continue uninterrupted. If you have any further questions to ask me or better yet, an explanation as to why this has even happened, I will be more than happy to oblige.

• Did you read the rules ? Yes. He's even shown them to new players as well.

• Why do YOU think you were banned? For griefing another member's island (albeit unknowingly)

• Was this an incorrect ban? Yes because he was under the impression that it was a give-away party on the island belonging to the person who teleported him there in the first place, Gamzee.

• Were you ever banned before on SkyBlock? If so, what for? No, or at least not to his knowledge.

• Why do you think you should be unbanned? Gamzee deceived this player among others into helping grief said island belonging to a player called Zach, also known as TheColdZero (IGN). DiamondNinja1121 also admitted to this act after discovering that the island did indeed NOT belong to Gamzee and even offered to help clean up the mess after finding out that this was NOT, as mentioned before, a free give-away party. Now, it has been brought to my attention that Gamzee has been banned--whether or not it was for this act remains to be know--but as they were the one to have tricked DiamondNinja1121--and others for that matter into doing this--Gamzee is the one who should suffer the full consequences along with anyone else who consciously took part in this act.

Do you have proof that he asked you to grief?

 

No one asked this player to grief, so no, I do not have any proof. He was under the impression that it was a give-away party of supplies on someone's island when he initially arrived. If this counts as griefing, then this player was unaware of that, as the definition of what that is does seem rather loose.

I'd also like to point out that he's never had any other transgressions against him, and since I know him personally (I'm his sister), I know he's not going to do something like this again, because he absolutely loves this server and just wants to go back to playing. He knows better than to steal, but if someone offers you something free, you would take it too no? Especially if that person had convinced you that it was theirs, which was what happened.

(Going back to the sister thing, he got locked out of his email, so now I'm having to use mine to do this.)

Look, to make things short, he just want to return to playing on this server, and I know him well enough to know that he's not going to grief anyone anytime soon because he knows better. I think that why this is even happening is because of a loose definition of what "griefing" even is, which isn't his fault. He literally just wants to go back to playing like usual at this point, and I'd like to see that too as this has made the both of us rather upset.

Now, the final decision obviously still lies in your hands to be made, but it would make me more than happy to see this ruled in our favor.

Can you get him to reply to me using your account? I would like to know what he has to say, although I do like the sincerity of the long replies, that's something I often look for, are these replies what you are saying, or what he is asking you to type for him?

 

He's having me type this out for him; it's all what he wants to say. However, we're about to head to school, and he's already in the car, so I'm afraid I can't get him for you at the moment, and I'm going to be gone here in a few too.

Why didn't he ask anyone if it was illegal?

 

He says that he didn't know to ask; he just assumed it was okay because he trusted the person who was telling him this.

 

It was a very minor grief, I'll unban him, but make sure he doesn't do this again
