Over the months, I have seen many a person complain about certain warps needing updating/fixing, and with Noobcrew and CypriotMerks only being able to be online for a short amount of time because of their busy schedules watching over many other servers, I find more than one server gets less attention than the others, .Net being one. I believe that having a builder or building team of specifically chosen, trusted people can be given building and breaking permissions for locked areas, to both fix/update and maintain the warps, as well as create new ones and delete ones that are not needed (with approval from Cypriot or Crew first). This will not only make a lot of people more happy with their skyblock experience, but also relieve a few duties being placed on just 2 people's heads. An example to why I think this is needed is /warp grass and the old /warp halloween2012. Recently warp grass was wiped by a newisland spawning, and it took many hours and countless person deaths before Cypriot was finally able to get online and resolve the problem. Another example being warp halloween2012 being removed as a warp because of several newislands spawning, deleting most of the warp, beyond care of fixing. As I have schematica, a client-side mod that allows the player to copy the outlay of a specified area, save it, then copy it into the world, and rebuild it, I believe that I should be one of the builders, or the builder for the server, with more in-depth reasons why explained in the prompts below. Why do you think you are qualified to be the servers builder/part of the team? I believe that I deserve to be a part of the team for multiple reasons, one included being the reasoning I gave in the above prompt, that I have a client-side mod that allows me to save the layout of all the places in skyblock, and rebuild them if I have the materials. If an incident like what happened with /warp grass occurs, I can easily paste the layout of the area, and rebuild it without hesitation. Which brings me to my next reason of daily online use. Recently, I have been on skyblock with an increasing amount of hours spend on the server. Holding that in mind, if an occurrence such as wiping or outdated information, I can quickly and efficiently fix up what needs to be done. My next reason balances on the form of trust. I admit I have been banned on the server before, and I take full responsibility of my actions, but I promise, if I do secure this position, that I will keep my skyblock life separate to that of the builders life. This ensures that I will not abuse any powers given to me for my own benefits. As I believe this position will be in need of several commands and benefits, such as creative mode, I do admit, there are far better people that you can place in this position that will not only be willing to fulfill this position, but also have more trust in having creative and such commands that may potentially destroy the server, if given a chance, and given time to prove myself, I will show that not only do I deserve this position, but I can also be trusted with the addons that come with it. I am willing, by any means, to negotiate a trial position where I am only allowed the commands when either Cypriot or Crew are on, as long as I am prove that this position is not only needed, but I can don the responsibilities that come with it. What commands/responsibilities do you think this position should include? I believe that for this position to be fulfilled to the highest standard, the position should be entitled to: Having access to Creative mode for infinite blocks Having access to build and destroy on private area (This does not include destruction of anything on other persons islands) Having access to WorldEdit Having access to /mail. (This is especially important for the builder/s as this is a way that Cypriot or Crew can contact the builder/s when said player is offline. I believe that the following are the needed responsibilities for this position: Not abusing any powers given Constant updating of any outdated information Fixing of broken or missing areas Do I have any experience with this type of position? I do not have any exact type of past experience with a building position, but on multiple servers, I have designed and build many mines, spawn areas etc. I plan on, in the not too distant future, allowing players to see my schematics of builds I have created or saved for protection against loss. These include all areas accessible by 100+ donors and below in skyblock.net, mansions, floating islands, terraforming, PixelArt and many more. Is there any extra information that you think is needed to be known? I am fully accessible from the forums and Skype/TeamSpeak. I am on the forums around 3 hours each day, but I do load up the page to see any changes to things, including alerts and messages. I have Skype and TeamSpeak, which I don't use too often unless I am prompted to by someone on the server. Other than this, I can easily be messaged in game. I believe that this position will be a very good opportunity for me, as this will strengthen my abilities to cope under pressure and constant messaging, as well as trust and honesty, which are much needed values for a moderator to undertake. I do not expect any civil treating such as a personal prefix or recognition other than the forums (for messaging purposes to be up to date with what needs fixing).
