Hello everybody I know greenbeans sometimes don't get much attention because they are greenbeans and this has to stop. I think a day maybe next month (i.e. May 5th) should be national g reenbean day. For that day, every donor on skyblock should try to teach a greenbean about how the economy in skyblock works and should help them on their island and answer any questions. I just think this would be a nice gesture as some people can't afford higher ranks or aren't allowed to upgrade and they should be noticed too offer any feedback
Mentor?? Donors don't necessarily have more experience than green beans, the only difference is that they've donated to the server. That's it. And donors wouldn't mentor anything you don't already know.
I am a greenbeans but that does not necessarily make me a noob haha Forreal though, there are skygods out there that know less than a greenbean. I like the idea of a national greanbean day though.. I would surely attend
I have a feeling a lot of donors wouldn't attend this... I would, but some greenies could get annoyed being treated like they don't know anything. It should be called: New player day. Not greenie day.
Forcing one to adopt a greenbean wont work. That is where the "hate" is coming from. The server is a game. Therefore people mainly play it to have fun. If people want to help others they can do so. They can also apply for mod. It is ok if you want to help greenbeans, that if your choice, but we dont need a day for it, and donors shouldn't be assigned a person. This "day" should be everyday, not just once. Not all greenies need mentoring. If they need help, they will ask.
Personally I like this idea. People who don't like this idea don't have to come xD It'd be cool for some of the experienced skyblockers to teach the newer players some stuff, and get the greenies more involved in the community, and more likely to stay! ^-^ Support ;D
i like the idea of event days (doesnt even have to be drop parties or interaction) even using the 1.8 announcement thingies just to go today is ___ Day like St Patricks Day, Greenbean Day, Mods Appreciation Day just something to make it a little bit fun and works the creative mind of cyp and crew and it doesnt even have to be every day i mean it could just be announcements for christmas easter halloween the longest day of the year etc etc xD
