English and have taken Italian 9 years and into college. Have you ever been banned? (if yes, why?) -I was temp banned once on Org for telling a mod in chat about a death warp instead of in a message (slipped my mind). -I have never been banned on net but I would like to attach my Amnesty Amnesty | Skyblock Forums. I was stupid and griefed neighboring islands, and I am very remorseful for my actions and have not done anything stupid since. Why do you think you should be a mod? I think that I should be a moderator because I want to help give all players the best possible experience on skyblock.org. I started out playing .Net and loved it, but when I found out about .Org it took over. I love this server and do not play minecraft for any other reason. I have enjoyed this server mostly because of the great community who are ready and willing to help anyone out. Moderators are incredibly nice and helpful to all players, so I want to join that effort and aid as many players as I can. I hope to make skyblock.org as good for other players as it was to me when I first joined. I understand that many new players are unsure of many things on this server and I want to help them as best as I can, which can be accomplished now as a normal player but could be improved should I be entrusted as moderator. It would be an honor and a privilege to join the staff team and I would handle this job with complete responsibility. I have been trying to get more involved in the community and on the forums recently and hope to continue my involvement regardless of the outcome or reception of this application. What qualifications do you have? Helpful: Ever since I was little I dreamed of becoming a doctor and now my dreams are becoming reality as I will be applying for medical school in a couple of years. I have always loved helping people, which is the main reason that I am pursuing medical school. In terms of skyblock, I enjoy helping players have the best experience on this server as they can. I answer any question that I see come up in chat regardless of the color of that players name. If I don’t know the answer I honestly tell the player and refer them to someone who might. I know firsthand, as many players do, how frustrating it can be to be ignored, so I try to answer as many questions as I can. Mature: Growing up with an older brother, you learn that you better act mature or else there will be consequences. My brother has been a good role model for me and as I became older and graduated high school, I’ve become more like an adult, but still have teenage traits. I understand when situations call for friendliness and joking, but I also understand when situations should be taken seriously and handled in mature, unbiased manners. Whether it is having fun with friends on the server, or handling ban appeals and reports, I am fully capable of handling matters in an appropriate manner. Intelligent, Determined & Quick Learner: I am currently attending college and am a Biology major. I have always done well academically and actually enjoyed school for the most part. I believe this trait would enable me to be a moderator because I am able to solve problems quickly and would be able to make a fair and just ruling or decision based on what I have in front of me. I am fiercely determined to achieve my goals and strive to do as well at every task that I am assigned because it is in my nature. I am a quick learner, and I am ready to learn any and all tasks that may be assigned to me should I be accepted. Kind & Respectful: I’ve never been one to be rude or disrespectful to my fellow peers. Instead I am usually the person to defuse situations by inserting jokes and inciting laughter. I understand that kindness and respectfulness will get you a lot further in life than being rude and bitter to others. As they say, you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar. I understand how to take criticism and opposing opinions and respond in a respectful manner. My decisions may not always be the most popular, so I know to receive and adapt to criticism that are presented to me. Honest: I am not a perfect person, and I know that. I am willing to admit to mistakes I have made and will continue to make. I do not lie because, really it does not solve any problems, it only creates new ones. Hopefully attaching my amnesty above could help show that I am an honest person and willing to admit when I mess up. If I don’t know an answer to a question in chat I will say so, but do my best to find out. Patient: This goes hand in hand with much of what I have said before. I am respectful to other people and am willing to listen to their explanations in order to give the best and most informed decision. I am willing to aid players who may not be quick to respond or confused. I am willing to explain things that may seem blatant to most people because everyone needs to start somewhere, so if I can help them learn I am very happy. Active: Ever since the reset I have been very active on the server. I have a little bit over 4 days played through 20 days of the server being up (works out to 4.8 hrs/day). Clearly I have nothing better to do, but I really do enjoy the server, and it is the only one I play. How long can you be active on the server everyday? Summer Months Everyday: 3-6 hours throughout the course of the day (particularly at around 1-4 AM when most people from my timezone are asleep). How long have you been playing skyblock.org? About a year on .org and about a year and a half on net. Do you have any past experience as a moderator? I have never been a moderator before on any server. As you may be able to tell from my application, I love to learn and grow as a person, so I think this experience could really help me do that. With some help from a friendly moderator, I have begun learning some of the commands commonly used by moderators; commands like ban, temp ban, kick, logs, mute. However, I know there are still many more things to learn, and I am willing to do whatever it takes to learn them. Thank you for your time and consideration! Thank you, I greatly appreciate your feedback . I had to focus on my work, but now I am back and becoming more active in both the forums and in game. Whenever I get on Net now I don't have much to do so I try to answer questions in the chat, which I sometimes do by msging the player rather than in chat so the person can see it easier. Once Org is reset I am planning on returning and focusing on it rather than Net
I hadn't in over a week. Yes I was anxious when I first made it, but now I just let it go. I've seen many people bumping, so I just thought it was normal. I'll cut down on the bumps
