Sometimes I log onto the Skyblock server, and I think, "Hm, what should I do?" Sometimes I just sit there talking in the chat. Other times I derp around in PVP, almost getting killed. Most days I just go to /warp mob and fill up my chests with mob droppings. So there should be something else to do, like a variety of minigames. There could be something like /warp minigame where there are several buttons connected to command blocks, warping you to different minigames. For starters, Spleef is a very fun and addicting minigame, in which players in an arena try to break blocks under others in order to be the last one standing. Players can fall into lava, water, the ground, etc. I'm sure there are plenty of Spleef plugins out there, and I have built several Spleef arenas myself. Why not? It can't hurt the server, and everyone will have fun.

 

i wouldnt go with it. i mean, what other minigames are there other than spleef that wouldnt change the skyblock server into a variety-of-stuff server?

Well, lets see: Rounds, MobArena, Capture the Flag, Survival Games, Team Battle, Skyblock challenge. Not enough for you?

 

They would distract the people from what the server's really about, skyblock.
Skyblock shouldn't have minigames, it's skyblock. You do your own thing.. it's cool you can even play it multiplayer and trade with others.. why do people always want more? =.=

Ok, ok, I get it. Maybe it should be available only to certain people, I don't know. People that have nothing left to do on their islands. It's just a suggestion.

 

i understand its kinda boring on ur island... how bout make the minigames ON ur island? then get ur coop people and tps for ppl to play

 

the thing is, how would you make spleef on ur island? it would take ages to re-build and you would have to supply items too. you need the plugins

 

snow golems, enchant the random shovels you pick up from zombies to silk touch, then build an arena of stone/wool/glass/glowstone/whatever looks cool no plugins required

 

I don't like spleef, Spleef is for the st00pid popples. Also, even if you have snowgolems, you still would need to place every.. single.. block.. of.. snow.. every.. time.. you.. play.. a.. game..
