Hey! I've came up with an idea that is pretty useful for dealing with griefers.

To make this applicable to both .NET as well as .ORG, we'll need both servers to have WorldGuard. Alright, now this is what the idea involves:

Adding a sort of "permission" to let people that aren't in your co-op to build your island. Only the people that are allowed to build on the island can build on the island, thus reducing griefing of popular stores or casinos.

The most suitable command I can come up with for this to be is, /island allow ( Player name here ). This is good for letting helpers help and not letting griefers destroy your island.

I've came up with a few cons but however I've not got any fixes for them. I'll list them down below:

• Huge islands cannot be made. If you go out of the boundaries of your island ( 49x49 ) you'll see another player's island and not be able to build any further. If there are any unprivated chests containing rares out of the 49x49 boundary and the island owner has NOT gave you permission, those rares will be lost forever.

• Pretty hard to implement. Now, I know we have developers and such, but that does not mean this will be an easy job.

I think crew mentioned something like this on the second page in the answers to skyblock org thread. He mentioned you could lock or unlock ur island with the custom island protection they're implementing to both servers. I don't know if ur both talking about the same thing but I thought I should mention it. Perhaps what he meant by that is u can unlock it allowing others to edit it? Not sure

Either way I support this command. It would be nice to selectively allow players to edit ones island.

 

With the new skyblock plugin you'll be able to "unlock or lock" your island and there will be island protection so your island can't be griefed by non-coop members.

 

I'm talking about allowing only certain people that aren't in your coop, not everyone.

 

I've suggested it before. Doubt it will be added but, support.

Not sure this would work for .net, because in order to do so, islands would need to be protected in the first place, and on a server that size, it would create major lag as well as possibly needing islands to all be reset.

On .org, that would be awesome though

 

As what pc said, this would be great on skyblock.org, but due to the island protection on net it might not work.

 

The islands are 99x99...
