We see the face of a thought which I can only describe as the actual idea. " I am not here " strongly agrees with this argument in the fact that a thought is only a fragment of your mind. Now, let's go to "You heard my voice". Thoughts don't speak to us, but we can get songs trapped in our head. We can also, play voices in our head - or even sounds.

Technically, they DID speak, but only a physical being can speak, so.. I'll leave it as is.

This may be the most obvious answer, but elements or seasons...

When I fall (autumn), I take over. When i melt away (winter), you spring to life (spring)

When you ask what am I, you could mean in total, so the seasons, or the odd one out, so summer

Edit: winter as it talks about 'it' melting, it comes after fall and before spring
