To my understanding this is the pros and cons, please correct/add to each list if you see something missed/wrong Pros = the economy will be reset and fixed, restabalises the server and allows a little TLC to happen and eases out all the creases Cons = Greenbeans may get annoyed if they had been playing for a while with big structures, people may leave as all the work is for nothing, theres no guarentee there will be more players and theres no guarentee that there will be improvements
Any donations you've purchased will be refunded. Stuff you've earned ingame wont, its a called a reset for a reason ;p
We clearly cannot keep playing like this... Where people can sell apples for 1 million dollars and there are over 1000 dragon eggs in circulation, so something (whether it be reset or rollback if its possible) needs to be done. The longer that this limbo situation continues, the more people will turn away from org and go elsewhere. New members wont stay and existing members may search elsewhere for servers. I'm not saying that Cyp and Crew need to hurry up, but I'm just stressing that the situation gets worse at time goes on and people need to accept reality. It's a harsh reality, but reset or rollback is inevitable and everyone is going to lose things. It's something that needs to be accepted because it is unavoidable now :/
What if i dont have the emails still for ALL the spawners i've bought? cause ive spent $100 plus on spawners, i know they keep a record of that stuff though so its all good?
o.o ummm my baby .org Looks to me like a reset is needed. If a server needs to be reset all these times, then that is totally fine. No need to promise for "this is the last reset" or anything. Not all servers are the type that need to stay on the same file for years. Obviously resets have worked (to some extent) in the past. It has fixed issues, and I believe that its the right time. Oh and hi btw.
It would doom the server even worse than pre-possible restart, 1) Population would drop more, 2) Not many people want to have to actually apply to have to play .org when on .net it's just open 3) Economy would be poorer.
It has to do with the ingame $ they recieved in exchange for those upgrades. If you reset, the people who donated on people's behalf for ingame $ will not be refunded.
Honestly its up to Croob in the end, but it would not make it more difficult for mods, would make it easier, alot easier infact. Yeah someone with admin would have to add new members, guess it just comes down to involvement the owner would want with controlling his server. By the way, org is not advertised at all for the most part, when you vote for org, the vote registers to net currently.
