This will make it harder for new people to join Anyways, Resetting .org would be nice. Also, add new events or fun things to it Last thing I remember that was a major event and fun :3 was spleef.
Whitelist keeps people from logging on to server unless they apply to be members. Yeah whitelisting just keeps people from randomly logging in with alt accounts and abusing server rules. It doesnt make it harder in any way to log in after you are approved to play on it.
You usually just send an email with your account name asking to play on the server, usually req's you read the rules first. Not very difficult to do.
More I think about it Guitar the more I agree with ya on this, to many $ donors will leave more than likely.

Cyp would have to do this. And cyp would be far to busy. Not to mention people who want to check out the server. They would wait, and wait and probably just give up. Whitelisting is not a great option for servers needing more people like org does. Restart is better. I know people will lose things but its better than the current situation and thus org can be updated to 1.8 easily too. Name changes can happen without rank loss and bal loss at least so the only issue would be island loss like net.

Oi. I'm just the kind of person that wants to have things forever; like if I have something I really enjoy, I have a hard time letting go. To me, this is a symbol of a complete waste of time; all the time I spent on my island is now gone. I just wish this never happened, but I guess that's life... Not happy atm. larrythebird101 I truly feel bad for you; your island is like perf... And truly, I am such a nub on .org (not .net) but now I see Redstone torches going for $7000; seriously? I bought diamond ore today; like, wow. That could never happen in .org for me I would just want a rollback because it would just be such a relief to have the money gone, but to still have my island. For the people that want to have a reset, then you should reset your island if you're unsatisfied with it.
(Since I was mentioned here, I may as well put in my opinion.. cx) To be honest, though, the only reason I was making my island all pretty is because I ran out of ideas.. I tore down and rebuilt that island at least 4 times. It was getting boring and I started running out of ideas. I had so much stuff, so many rares, that it was getting boring. I had 400k, I could buy alot with that. There was nothing to strive for, there was no challenge, and I feel like thats how it was for anyone with a decent pumpkin farm. There was no challenge in making money. There was no challenge period. I, myself, am thankful that theres going to be a reset. It was getting repetitive and boring. There was nothing new.. I mean, of course I kept coming back to moderate because its something that I enjoy, but at times when there wasnt many people to moderate, I would just leave because there was no point. But yeah.. Thats just my lengthy opinion
Main thinking on whitelist is that it is difficult to staff with mod's and hard to control with random players having ability to come and go, but in the end that is a decision the owner must cross, from the time I have been on there def seems to be a need for better controls in place.
