Can't we add a plugin where clag doesn't wipe out stuff like: diamonds, dia blocks, grass, iron, gold, etc?

 

Idk if its possible, but there is something to exclude items that were dropped from dying. Just watch the chat for when clearlag comes, that's how people usually lose their stuff from not checking.

I think an exemption to the ClearLag plugin is a great idea. You don't have to add more plugins and configure them and you still have happy players. Are people really going to through their diamonds on the ground? Hopefully not! Even if ClearLag doesn't take them, built in minecraft mechanics removes items on the ground after a set period of time

 

No support, because i know this sounds stupid but people could make the server lag by keeping their rares on the ground if they had no coops/ good coops / didn't bring anyone to their island

I support, everyone is telling eachother to be careful... But I mined something without realising it was the clag second. Sadly, this was my anvil... But Grace gave me a new one I felt soooo bad, but anyway. 100% Support

 

I don't even know if this is possible, as CLAG wipes out all of the item entities. I don't think it would work. No Support

find "item-filter: #What items should NOT be removed during clearing~" on the page

So in the config file (a text file) you add new lines of text with item IDs. Takes 5 seconds to do

You don't always drop items on purpose. Sometimes you die, sometimes you glitch and it drops an item (happens to me at least 1 day), sometimes you accidentally press the drop button. All of these situations does not constitute you being a fool. If the rational behind people's opinion is to be more careful because they don't want lag caused by items being on the ground, then they are unaware of how little amount of TPS (ticks per second) is caused by a small amount of items. In addition, I stated before that minecraft has built in item "clearlagging" that automatically removes items on the ground after a certain period of time. So the only way this could really be abused and cause more lag to the server is if all of the rich people risked losing all of their whitelisted rares and dropped them on the floor.

So once again, I resupport as the server is currently in a worse off state without this configuration change
