I suggest to host staff opinion polls every month for both .net and .org. This will make it easier to tell which staff members are polite, active, helpful and are good candidates for future promotion or rude and inactive and need to be demoted immediately. This will also increase chance for applicants to become Mods or T-Mods . As you could have guessed main voters will be regular players. This is not my idea, but I believe that it would be helpful for server administration if it was implented.
I suggested something similar to this and Cyp commented on this and said it didn't work before because people were bias. He said that you should just pm a staff me never to tell them how they are going. Sorry no support because it's already been suggested and declined by Cyp~
This is a DIY type idea. You can make your own thread for this. We used to have staff feedback section however it was removed. We have abrupts staff feedback thread Opinions can be quite bias so it will never be taken 100% seriously like reports are. So no support because it wont happen officially, but making your own is better.
If you feel that a moderator is doing a bad job or a regular player is doing an exceptional job (or vice versa), why not just shoot them a PM? Honestly...threads, polls, etc., though helpful, are somewhat unnecessary. Anyone who is observant can clearly see who is doing a good job and who is not. It shouldn't become more of a popularity contest than it already seems to be, according to some people.
Popularity would rule this, people would vote for their friends, whether or not they helped. Once upon a time there was a staff feedback section, but again no one gave feedback, just praised everyone.
There this thing called the agree rating, try it out some time Anyway, no support, there's a huge amount of people who would simply abuse this, in one way or another.
When I first saw the title I was about to be like yes but then I saw some of the comments. If they could find a way where its not bias (which they probably won't) then otherwise no support
Mod's shouldn't be concerned about being popular, kinda works against what their function is in the game. Its up to the admin, how and when, to police its staff tbh.
