Many people in-game, who are new donors, don't know how to use the colour chat. I try to help, but it can be quite hard and sometimes they aren't even a high enough donor. Also I get frequently asked how to add players names to a lockette and how to add other text too. My first section will be about Colour Codes & the second one for Lockettes: Colour Codes: First off, to chat in colour you have to be Donor25+, which sadly means Donor10's can't. The way to activate the colour is to put an & sign infront of certain numbers or letters. To get the & sign, you press and hold the shift^ key and then click 7. Many different colours are available to chat in and their letters and numbers will all be here: &0 = Black &1 = Dark Blue &2 = Dark Green &3 = Cyan Blue &4 = Dark Red &5 = Dark Purple &6 = Orange &7 = Light Grey &8 = Dark Grey &9 = Sky Blue &a = Light Green &b = Light Blue &c = Light Red &d = Magenta &e = Yellow Lockettes: To 'lockette' chests means to lock a chest. To lock a chest all you need to do is shift+click on the chest with the sign. Then just hit the escape(esc)key and there you go, a chest in which you can only open! But many share an island and want to let the fellow player open the chest. Taking the lockette is the worst way to solve the problem as then any other players can access it and take your items out. If you Right Click the sign, an orange message should pop up saying: [Lockette] Sign selected, use /lockette <line number> <text> to edit. Then you need to decide what you want to add on the sign. If it is a player name, it has to be spelt correctly. But you can label the chest or type whatever you want. Additionally, non-donors can use the above colour codes to type in colour on any signs! btw, non-donors also can use colours in private messages. For example: /m <name> &aa &bb &cc &dd &ee etc...
There is a symbol that looks like A. Hightlight the text you want colored, press that button, look at colors, click color you want, boom.

I thought I knew how at first. So in msg I did random things like; "(Red)Aye" or "(r)Aye" After like 20-30 minutes I gave up and googled it o3o
