I want this a long time already, I will explane it.

Its just a private chat with multiple players in it. So you don't have to use /msg, /r, /m, /tell, etc all the time.
Commands:

/pc help (Shows this list of commands)
/pc create (Create a private chat)
/pc delete (Delete the Private chat, only when you are the owner of the PrivateChat)
/pc add or /pc invite (Add someone to your privatechat)
/pc kick (remove someone from your private chat)
/pc mute (Mute a player in your party, he can still see what your saying)
/pc leave (Leave the Private chat where you are in)
/pc auto on (You dont have to type /pcs <text> but just say it in the chat)
/pc auto off (You can talk in regular chat again, you can still use /pcs <text>)
/pc showglobal on (Turns the global chat on)
/pc showglobal off (Turns the global chat off)
/pcs <text> (Say something in the PrivateChat when /pc auto is not enabled)

This are just examples for the commands!

Would you still be actively viewing the regular chat when this is enabled? Or is this a separate chat channel?

 

Since this allows you to toggle global chat on/off no support.
Players who need help may be ignored because people would be in private chat.
Players who run shops and/or want to make trades would be impacted as well.

Make it so you can somehow run this and global simultaneously and you'll get my support.

 

Some people want to turn of the chat and only talk with there friends. Some people want to see the auctions.
Somehow both has to be possible.
If mods are in private chat, they don't have to turn off there chat.
If it's possible you will still be able to get private messages. (/msg, /tell, /wisper, etc.)




Let me know how you should do it.

Support. I think people miss a lot of messages in the fast chats and this will ensure that people wont. Plus with the added benefit of being able to message multiple people

 

Part of the Essentials config:

This is for the Mods/ Admins/ Owner to vieuw Private messages (Don't know of this is beeing used on the Skyblock.net server.

Otherwise we could add a special permission for Mods/ Admins and Owner so they can see the PrivateChat messages.

After a while of thinking, I don't think this would be needed, if you want to report someone you can just make a screenshot. Also I don't think Mods can see /msg's and other messages right now.
It's mostly being used as a chat with a (few) friend(s) and I don't think they are gonna scam eachother, otherwise, if you want to report someone you can just make a screenshot and report in on the forums.
