Uhm, well, my way to pick up girls is more for the legal drinking age type. When I was in highschool, I would just talk to them about that "big test coming up" make conversation out of stuff like that. Get them to study with you. Then, when your time is right, be as normal of yourself as possible and just ask them if they would like to go to a movie or dinner instead of studying sometime. I don't know. It worked for me quite a few times in HS.
Make a girl feel special. Spend time with them. Ask them questions about their interests. Smile at them. Make them feel important to you.

Asking how to talk to girls is like asking what colour a rainbow is. Too many variables. Girls are all different. If you're looking for a girlfriend (which I'm somewhat assuming is the point of this), it's not going to work with every / just any girl. You need to find a girl that you have something in common with, something that brings you together something that binds you and makes being together feel natural. So how do you find it? Talking to girls. Nothing special, just like what's been mentioned above. Say hi, talk to them about what drives them, what sucks up their free time and if in the conversation you come across something that makes both of your eyes light up, ask her for her number or email or skype. If you don't have anything to talk about, nothing in common, then trying to be together is going to be a struggle and it's going to be a lot more work then it should be. However, every person you talk to has something to teach you and has the possibility to change the way you look at the world. So basically don't talk to a girl, talk to as many girls as you can, because that's how you're going to find one that clicks. The most important thing in all of it, is going to be confidence. If it goes well, it goes well and if it doesn't, then it doesn't. But from beginning to end, know who you are and believe in that person and eventually, you'll find the one that clicks.

just think to yourself, girls are just people and open your mouth like shes just one of the bros, if she rejects the way to communicate to her, she is not your type anyway trust me.
